Cleveland celebrates Cavaliers with huge NBA victory parade (photos)

Hundreds of thousands of jubilant fans came out for a parade celebrating the Cleveland Cavaliers' NBA Championship win, in downtown Cleveland. The team led by Lebron James brought home the city's first major sports title in more than 50 years (since 1964), ending their long professional sports championship drought. Confetti in the team's colours rained down as the parade moved through the city, with the NBA championship trophy in a black pickup truck and team members traveling in separate vehicles. Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong signs new contract with Gent till 2018

Nigeria national team defender William Troost-Ekong has extended his contract with Belgian club Gent till 2018. The central Super Eagles defender had been linked with possible moves to a number of teams in England in the summer transfer market including Crystal Palace, Swansea City, Norwich City and Brigthon & Hove Albion but he has committed his future to Genk till 2018.
