Kevin Spacey pulled over for speeding after pleading not guilty to assault allegations















Kevin Spacey had yet another brush with the law as he was caught overspeeding and was pulled over just hours after his court hearing.

The actor, who was arraigned on accusations of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old at a bar in Nantucket back in 2016, was nearly issued a ticket as he was going home from the court hearing.

A Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Spokesperson told E! News:


Kevin Spacey was pulled over earlier today by Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority Police officers for speeding. The officers gave Spacey a verbal warning and did not issue a ticket.

Tope Alabi, Davido Top List of 2018 Most Played Artistes on Boomplay in Nigeria

The year 2018 has been an amazing one for many Nigerian artistes with total music plays rising above 4.5 Billion with over 583,000 user-generated playlist globally, a very significant increase when compared to previous years.

Tope Alabi not only tops the list as the best artiste of 2018 in Nigeria, but also claimed the spot for most album plays. Davido’s “Assurance” claimed the spot for most-played while “Mind” by DMW is the second most-played song in Nigeria.

Mind by DMW, Joromi by Simi and Easy by Reekado Banks also topped as the most trending songs in Nigeria based on the number of times each song appeared in the Top 100 Nigeria chart.

Assurance by Davido, Single & Searching by Yemi Alade and Malo by Tiwa Savage featuring Wizkid claimed the spot as “Top Music Videos” in Nigeria based on the number of views garnered.

Afropop and Afrofusion was the most listened-to genre that dominated 2018, but Gospel music experienced a steep increase - with Tope Alabi being the most trending artiste of 2018.

"I challenge Kelly to take a live lie detector" one of R. Kelly's alleged former sex slave says












One of the women allegedly abused by R. Kelly has challenged the singer to take a lie detector test live on national TV to prove to the world that he's innocent since that's what he claims.

Asante McGee is one of the women who made allegations against Mr. Kelly on "Surviving R. Kelly". Following her revelations, a Facebook page was create called Surviving Lies where R. Kelly is trying to prove his accusers are lying and "expose" them.

It appears that Asante McGee, who was featured in the docuseries, is the first target to be exposed by R. Kelly. A video shared by Surviving Lies Facebook page features an audio conversation that allegedly features Asante’s daughter and ex-boyfriend exposing her accusations. The people on the audio have not been verified, but the page is claiming that it is Asante’s daughter and ex-boyfriend.

But Asante says people need to wake up to the real person Kelly is. She says his longtime fans must stop supporting and pull the shudders back to see what's really going on and, after that, hold him accountable for his alleged crimes.

Asante then went on to request that R. Kelly undergo a polygraph on TV, where the results can be seen live.

PDP suspends Deputy National Chairman from the North, Senator Gamawa Babayo for dereliction of duty and anti-party activity









The National Working Committee (NWC), in its extra-ordinary session on the 5th of January 2019, among other things, critically reviewed the petition against the Deputy National Chairman (North) Senator Gamawa Babayo.



In a statement signed by the party's National publicity secretary, Kola Ologbodiyan, 'the NWC found merit in the petition on allegation of dereliction of duty and anti-party activity as contained in Section 58 (1) e, f, g, h of the PDP Constitution.



'Therefore, in exercise of section 29 (2) a, b and c, the NWC hereby invokes Section 59 (1) d of the constitution of the PDP on the Deputy National Chairman (North) and accordingly suspends him from the party immediately'.

'Love & Hip Hop' star Tommie Lee facing over 50-Years in prison for child abuse









Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Tommie Lee, has been indicted on multiple child abuse charges over an alleged assault on her kid.

In the indictment filed by the state of Georgia, Lee allegedly attacked her daughter in October 2018. Lee is said to have disrupted her young daughter's middle school's class, slapping her with the strap of her purse, slapping her across the face numerous times, before dragging her down the hall by her hair and throwing her into a metal locker.

The indictment states Lee is facing seven charges, with three of them felonies. The other four are misdemeanors.

According to the document obtained by TMZ, if Tommie is convicted of all seven charges, she could be locked up for up to 54 years.
