“Once Nigerians Enter America, Nigerians Would Never Go Back To Their Huts’ In Africa” – President Donald Trump Fumes

President Donald Trump has tongue-lashed countries with immigrants in the US, according to a New York Times report.

In a meeting he reportedly attended in June at the Oval Office, Trump was quoted to have said Nigerians refuse to “return to their huts” after seeing America.

He was also quoted to have said immigrants from Haiti “all have AIDS”, while describing Afghanistan as a “haven of terrorists.”

Trump was said to be angered by the rising number of immigrants in the US despite his travel bans.

He described this as a mockery to his campaign pledge.

TheCable reported that earlier in the year, Trump had issued an executive order banning travellers from six Muslim-majority countries from gaining access to the US.

“More than 2,500 were from Afghanistan, a terrorist haven, the president complained,” officials in the meeting reportedly told New York Times.

“Haiti had sent 15,000 people. They all have AIDS.

“Forty thousand had come from Nigeria, Mr. Trump added. Once they had seen the United States, they would never ‘go back to their huts’ in Africa.”

The White House is said to have confirmed the meeting. It, however, denied that Trump used the words “AIDS” or “huts” in referring to people from any country.

Pastor Feeds Congregation Rat Poison To Prove They’re Above Death, And They All Die

According to Popular UK Website Unilad, A priest tried to prove his congregation were ‘immortal’ by feeding them rat poison and – as you can imagine – it went as badly as you’d expect.

Priest Light Monyeki from Soshanguve, South Africa, took it upon himself to prove his followers were both ‘superhuman’ and ‘immortal’, with a seriously dangerous stunt.

The priest declared to his congregation they should not fear death, as they will not die, before proceeding to pour bottles of water contaminated with rat poison into their mouths. Unfortunately for them they were more than happy to oblige.

He said:

We do not need to proclaim faith because we are believers. Death has no power over us.

Horrifyingly, many of his followers ran forward to take a fatal swig of the lethal stuff in a desperate bid to get closer to God.

The priest first drank the poison fluid before pouring it down the throats of his loyal congregation.

Predictably, members of his church started to complain of stomach pains and by the evening, five of them had died.

A further 13 were taken to hospital for the ingestion of the lethal drink, but despite all of this Monyeki allegedly denied responsibility.

Instead he declared:

Too much of any good thing could be bad.

Surely he’s not referring to his poison drink as a ‘good thing,’. There’s a line when it comes to dark humour.

The incident sparked a police investigation, but no arrests were made.

It’s infuriating to think this priest ever thought for a second this was a good idea and it highlights a gross abuse of power.

Live Strong writes on the effect rodenticides have on humans:

Various rat poisons used to control rodents have potent effects on people if ingested. Many rat poisons contain anticoagulants, which are medications that interfere with blood clotting.

As rats have become resistant to poisons, new superwarfarins that are more toxic to both rats and people have been marketed.

Several other rat poisons are used by government agencies or trained personnel only. The University of Florida reports that in the US in 1996, more than 13,000 people ingested rat poison – 96 percent unintentionally. Full effects of taking rat poison may not occur for up to two weeks after ingestion.

RIP to all the lives so recklessly taken.

Nigerian Man Who Proposed To His Wife Without A Ring 20 years Ago, Later in 2017 Buys Her A Ship (Photos)

We all show love to our partners in different ways. For some it’s by being there (physically and emotionally), for others, it’s by buying expensive gifts.

One Nigerian man named Ubong King through his recent act has shown the world that he belongs to the latter category.

He took to Instagram to share how he couldn’t afford a ring when he proposed to his wife in 1995 but today, he has bought a ship and named it after her just to show his appreciation.

“I proposed to my wife sometime in 1997 without a ring, while squatting in a friend’s house in #Uyo, #Akwaibom state. She said YES even when she knew that I had nothing. She was discouraged by many to change her mind and was asked a question which she told me “why stay with Ubong when he can’t buy you a bottle of #Coca-Cola”. When she told me I looked up and down, I looked at her and said the choice to stay was her’s… she stayed.

We got married in 2002 and still started by squatting in another friend’s house out of Lagos for about 1yr till I got my #mindset right to get my own house in Alagbado. We had to start with one mattress on the floor, second hand carpet, a ceiling fan and our windows were covered with old newspapers since we could not afford curtains.

I worked as a security coordinator in NBC Apapa, bottlers of #Coca-Cola drinks and all i wanted to do was to be responsible to be able to buy my wife a bottle of #Coca-Cola. The drive to be able to refresh my growing family has helped me to be able to buy my wife and kids Coca-Cola drinks at anytime… In 2015, I decided to buy a vessel from that drive and named it after my wife MV IVYKING. Thank YOU @unyimeivyking for starting me up my drive.”

his wife shared her own story;

“The pressure to say ‘no’ mounted heavily, but I wasn’t dissuaded because, it was all external, and the reasons, when I summarized them all pointed to one argument- he didn’t have anything and would not be able to provide for me.

I’d built up enough information on the inside to realize that the lack of material acquisitions is a temporary state of being- anybody’s story can change in an instant, with God in their corner. I dared to trust God with that decision, and He honored my trust. I said ‘yes’ because I saw us building an empire together- our story is just beginning and we will write it someday by His grace. Ultimately, God will be glorified and honored. Thank you @ubongking for honoring your commitment to me and for taking care of the children and I, the way you do. *Now you can buy me many crates of coca-cola drinks* if you so wish”

According to our investigation:

In March 2010, the average price for a geared 500-ton container ship was $10 million, while gearless ships of 6,500 and 12,000 TEU averaged prices of $74 million and $105 million respectively.
