Unconfirmed report claims Jay-Z has set up $15million dollar trust fund for slain rapper Nipsey Hussle's kids









An unconfirmed report is claiming that Jay-Z has created a $15million dollar trust fund for slain rapper Nipsey Hussle's kids with his wife Lauren London as executive power over it.

The news surfaced on Wednesday evening that the trust fund has been set up on behalf of ROC Nation/Jay-Z for the two children the rapper left behind following his murder.

Nipsey Hussle, 33, whose real name is Ermias Joseph Asghedom was one of three men shot outside his clothing store on Sunday. He was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the other two men were in stable condition.

It's yet to be confirmed if a trust fund was truly set up but the news has been making rounds on social media since yesterday.

Five Star Music Star, Kcee has revealed that the music industry is full of fake people and that there are certain people who have monopolized the gains of the music business, making it difficult for others to enjoy its dividends.



Reacting to Waje’s recent viral video, Kcee said, “I saw Waje’s video and I was touched. I was supposed to say something about it but I was busy with my album project. However, I spoke to a few people about it. The truth is that the industry is a fake one; I am not just talking about the Nigerian music industry, but globally. Everybody is struggling. I have been in this business for 19 years and at every point in time, you have A-list artistes and they are about ten”



“These set of people are the ones making all the money. There are hundreds of artistes behind them struggling to get to make it to the top ten list. These other artistes keep spending the same amount of money (the A-list artistes spend) to just get there and they also have to live like a celebrity. This costs a lot of money. If you do not have the drive and focus to keep the fire burning, it is going to weigh you down” he told Punch

Fela's daughter cautions man who said Davido is a better singer than her father

















Motunrayo Anikulapo Kuti, the daughter of the legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has replied a man who compared her father to Davido.

Efe Kpokpogri, a web user said "Davido is better" than Fela. This angered Motunrayo and she made her feelings known.

FG approves renaming of FETHA to Alex Ekwueme University Teaching Hospital Abakaliki












The Federal government has approved the renaming of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, FETHA, to Alex Ekwueme University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki with immediate effect. Ekwueme who was the first elected Vice-President of Nigeria from 1979 to 1983, died in November 2017.

Announcing the change of name for the medical center, the Governing Board Chairman of the Health institution, Tijani Ramalan, said the development


“This development is a blessing from God the Almighty as a lot of benefits will come to the hospital in the areas of funding infrastructural developments by TETFUND and manpower capacity building of staff by the PTDF.

It is my pleasure to announce to the people of Ebonyi state that the federal ministry of health has approved the request by Alex Ekwueme University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo, Ebonyi state to have the federal teaching hospital Abakaliki, FETHA, as its teaching Hospital.

With this formal announcement, may I seize this opportunity to thank the Board, Chief Medical Director, management team and staff of Alex Ekwueme University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki for their team work, support and cooperation to the Board which helped immensely in the success recorded in the hospital'' he said

President Buhari departs Nigeria for Jordan, Dubai










President Buhari today departed Abuja for Amman to honour an invitation by King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan to participate in the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa holding at the Dead Sea, Jordan.

President Buhari will deliver an address at the opening of the plenary alongside King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and United Nations Secretary General, António Guterres, and join world economic leaders in an informal gathering at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre.

The President will also hold bilateral meetings with some world leaders on the sidelines of the Forum.

President Buhari will depart Amman Sunday for Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the ninth edition of the Annual Investment Meeting, April 8-10, 2019.

Invited by His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rachid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the Nigerian President as Guest of Honour, will deliver the keynote address under the theme, “Mapping the Future of Foreign Direct Investment: Enriching World Economies through Digital Globalization.”

According to the organisers, the meeting is “the largest gathering of corporate leaders, policymakers, businessmen, regional and international investors, entrepreneurs, leading academics and experts showcasing up-to-date information, strategies and knowledge on attracting FDI.”

The meeting also seeks to explore investment opportunities in more than 140 countries, connect businesses and countries willing to engage in sustainable partnerships with investors.

President Buhari will be accompanied on both trips by Governors Abubakar Badaru, Abiola Ajimobi and Yahaya Bello of Jigawa, Oyo and Kogi States respectively.

Others on the entourage include the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; the National Security Adviser, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Babagana Monguno (rtd), and other top government officials.

For the event, the 2018 World's Strongest Man sported a blue-green tuxedo with a white shirt, bowtie, black pants, and black shoes while his Canadian waitress-wife wore an elegant black dress with a slit up the leg.



At one point, Bjornsson, who plays Gregor 'The Mountain' Clegane on Game of Thrones got playful with former Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal, who pretended to 'choke' him on the red carpet.
