Ogbaji Godwin, known as SPENDER, is an independent South African/Nigerian Trap and Hip Hop artist. Born and raised in Nigeria Spender now permanently resides in South Africa, Johannesburg.

His musical interests and passion for the craft began at the young age of 14, with dreams of becoming a household name. Although still fairly new to industry Spender has had the pleasure on featuring on music playlisted on some of Africa’s biggest music channels, such as Trace Africa, MTV and Channel O.

In late 2016 the rapper tested the waters by releasing a song for listening purposes titled “DollarBill”. To his surprise the song became very popular on iTunes and people’s reaction’s was a clear indication that he was well on his way to becoming a well-known artist

In celebration of Africa month the rapper and producer released his new single “II For The Night”, in May 2017. The song is a feel good track inspired by the good life and celebrating being young and gifted. “II For The Night” is the first single taken out of Spender’s debut album due for release during the course of 2017. Spender’s debut album promises to feature some of SA’s biggest names in Hip Hop, all to be revealed in due course?

Lagos State House Of Assembly member, Hon. Kazeem Ademola Alimi representing Eti-Osa 1 has died.

Until his death, late Alimi worked with the Lagos State House of Assembly between 1992-2001; Lagos Internal Revenue Service Head, CPO 2001-2010 and the Lagos State of Assembly from 2015 till date.

He was born on July 3, 1967. He started his education at Moba Community Primary School, Moba Eti-Osa, attended Government College, Maroko, Eti-Osa, and obtained Bachelors Degree (B.Sc) in Economics from Lagos State University (LASU).

New US Citizens Receive Welcome Letter Signed By Pres. Barack Obama

A twitter user whose husband just became a US citizen shared the mistake U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) made on the welcome letter given to new US citizens. In the welcome letter, the new citizens were congratulated by former US president Barack Obama's signature instead of current US president, Donald Trump's. She tweeted:

According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, roughly 200 of these letters have been sent out due to an administration error. A total of 300,000 applications for citizenship have been approved since Trump's inauguration.










Consequently, USCIS press secretary Gillian Christensen has called the mistake an administrative oversight.

USCIS spokeswoman Maria Elena Upson, blames the oversight on the semi-recent change of administration.
She also said that the agency had yet to receive a welcome letter and video message from Trump, but that it?s not unusual for new administrations to take several months to accomplish that task. Until that happens, she said that new citizens don?t receive either a congratulatory letter or video message.

Another twitter user wrote that during her husband?s citizenship ceremony in March, they accidentally started to play Obama?s congratulatory video. ?Everyone cheered!? she wrote.

They Are A Shameful Family, They Should Bow Down Their Head In Shame - Counselor Lutherodt Blasts Christabel Ekeh's Family For Endorsing Her Nude Photos

Ghanaian self-styled marriage counselor, George Lutterodt, has launched a withering attack on Nigerian/Ghanaian actress, Christabel Ekeh and her family over her recently released nude photos.

Her mother and younger sister have both stated that they see nothing wrong with the photos the actress released, as the nature of her job sometimes demands that she goes naked.

Speaking on it, the controversial counselor who’s widely known for his criticism and controversial statements, said the actress’s conduct is due to “parenting error. When it comes to this girl, it is parenting go wrong. It is a parenting error. Because if I hear the sister speaking and the mother speaking, it is like she is independent”. He told Peace FM

“No child is independent in this world and especially when it comes to the public figures. They don’t have a private life because they become unwanted models and role models for people who have not had proper parents at home”. He added.

Reacting to statement made by her mom and sister, he said:

“When your parents have come to endorse your nudity? Which home is she from? And a photographer asked her to pose for the pictures? What is going on? I think the family should bow down their head in shame. This is one of the biggest scandal ever because we rather hear people when the nakedness of their children comes out, they want to use every means to cover it”.

According to Counselor Lutherodt, what gives him more headache over Christabel’s issue is that he has not heard of the father speaking about the uncouth act. Anytime you find homes where there are no fathers; you see people going wayward like this
