FCMB gives out car to precious Onyekachi, winner of FCMB Flexx Promo

FCMB First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Limited on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, in Lagos presented a brand new Hyundai Veloster car to Precious Onyekachi Samuel, who had emerged Winner at the draws of the FCMB Flexx Promo that held on February 14, 2017.

Result for the DNA test to reveal the truth about alleged Janet Jackson's love child is out

A 31-year-old woman, Tiffany Whyte came out last week to claim she's Janet Jackson's love child with the singer's first husband, James DeBarge   Earlier, in 2012, DeBarge had claimed that he and Janet secretly had a love child who they gave up for adoption; a claim that Jackson denied.
With the emergence of Tiffany making claims, a DNA test has now been done to determine Ms. Whyte's paternity.

Whyte grew up in the Pennsylvania foster system and has always wished to have parents of her own, hence her coming out now with the claims.

"I’ve been waiting for this moment for 31 years. I always wanted a father. Always wanted a dad. I would like for James to be a part of my life," she said.James’s mother, Etterlene DeBarge, claimed that she and Whyte previously took their own secret DNA test and the result was a match. James agreed to a DNA test which was done at accredited facilities in California and Pennsylvania. The results were analysed by top experts in the field and the verdict is that James is NOT Whyte’s father.

The scientific report says that there is zero chance of James being Whyte's father.

James is not giving up the search for the alleged love child and he insists that the truth will come out someday.

American singer and songwriter, Jason Derulo has revealed he now has a secret girlfriend who he intends to keep away from the public.
Speaking to New York Post's Page Six, the singer who made headlines after his break-ups with fellow singer Jordin Sparks and busty model Daphne Joy, said

'I'm not single. I'm keeping it on the low. I've been trying to.'
Referring to his very public relationship with American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, he continued: 'I'm trying to do it differently this time because every other time, it didn't work.'

Despite being in a secret relationship, Jason also revealed that he's still receiving a lot of attention from his female admirers, with many sending him X-rated texts.

Jason and Jordin dated for three years and were even engaged, but went their separate ways in 2014.

"Retrace your steps or face God’s wrath" - Nigerian Bishops warn Apostle Suleman's accuser, Stephanie Otobo

Stephanie Otobo, the lady who has publicly accused founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, of having extramarital affair with her and aborting their baby, has been warned by the association of Nigerian Bishops known as the Niger Delta Bishops and Ministers Forum (NDBMF) to retrace her steps or face the wrath of God.

Addressing newsmen in Port Harcourt, Rivers state yesterday, President of NDBMF, His Eminence, Dr. Julius Ediwe, said Stephanie is being sponsored by some people who are angry at Suleman for speaking in defense of Christians.


Ediwie warned that Stephanie and her sponsors should desist from their acts of falsehood or face the wrath of God

"We want to let Nigerians and the whole world know that this is propaganda. It is false. As spiritual fathers in the land, we will not be quiet and watch a young girl with whoever that is sponsoring her, spoil the name of a man of God. A man of God who has single-handedly stood in defense of Christians in this country, Africa and the whole world. We cannot sit down and watch a young girl like that speak blasphemy of such a man of God. We are here to say it is an error. As Niger Delta Bishops and Ministers Forum, we condemn the actions of the young girl and whoever that is sponsoring her. We want to advise them to leave Apostle Suleiman alone. ALlow him to do what God has sent him to do in Nigeria, in Africa and the whole world. God called him to preach the gospel and we are enjoying the gospel and we love what he is doing. I want to let Nigerians know that Apostle Suleiman has made us, clergymen proud in this country. Such a man is not somebody who that little girl should come up to rubbish. Ali has starred in other great movies like Hidden Figures, House of cards, The Hunger Games Saga and more. He met his music producer wife and they fell in love while he studied for his master's degree at New York University in 2000 and they got married in 2013. Ali was raised a Christian but converted to Islam while he was in graduate school after visiting a mosque with his wife and her mother.


The actor had also won a Golden Globe, SAG Award, and Critic's Choice award for best supporting actor.

23 years after, Pope Francis seeks forgiveness for the role of the Catholic Church during the 1994 Rwandan genocide. According to a statement from the Vatican, Pope Francis has asked Rwandan President Paul Kagame for forgiveness for the "sins and failings" of the Catholic Church during the 1994 Rwandan genocide.

During a meeting with Kagame on Monday at the Vatican, the Pope expressed "solidarity with the victims and with those who continue to suffer the consequences of those tragic events".

Pope Francis acknowledged that priests, nuns and members of the Catholic church had succumbed to hatred and violence in Rwanda, "betraying their own evangelical mission," the Vatican said.

Rwanda's foreign minister Louise Mushikiwabo, who accompanied President Kagame on the trip, said the meeting was a positive step forward. "It allows us to build a stronger base for restoring harmony between Rwandans and the Catholic Church," she added in a statement released by the presidency.

In November, the Catholic Church in Rwanda apologized for its members' role in the genocide that saw hundreds of thousands of Rwandans killed in 1994. In 1994, Hutu extremists in Rwanda targeted minority ethnic Tutsis and moderate Hutus in a three-month killing spree that left an estimated 800,000 people dead.

Four Catholic priests were indicted by the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda for their role in the genocide in 2001.

With fans doing all they can to earn whatever prized possessions left behind by Tupac 20 years ago, his handwritten 'Dear Mama' lyrics has now been placed up for sale. According to TMZ, MomentsInTime.com is selling Tupac’s handwritten lyrics to his 1995 hit song 'Dear Mama.'

The three-page love letter to his mother Afeni Shakur is being sold for $25,000 each, for a total of $75,000.




The sheets were said to have come from the studio where Tupac recorded the song and MomentsInTime.com say they purchased them from a private collector in Poland.




However, it was also reported that there are a few notations on the side, of names of rappers Tupac may have potentially wanted to collaborate with.

Woman receives backlash for saying she is 'too beautiful' to stay faithful to her husband

A woman, Julia Stephenson who is a journalist, environmentalist and former It-girl, has been labelled “deluded”, “shallow” and “embarrassing” after writing a tell-all article claiming she was unable to be faithful to her husband because she is “too beautiful”. Stephenson wrote a controversial article for the Mail Online titled: “The agony of being too beautiful to be faithful.”
Stephenson who rubbed shoulders with the likes of Tara Palmer-Tomkinson in her youth and gained a reputation as a society girl, in her article, wrote about her experiences of marrying young – aged 26 – to a man she described as “not much of a looker”.

She wrote that, as she “blossomed” in her 20s, she became “fixated with the idea that I’d made a dreadful mistake in settling for someone whom I had mistakenly assumed was the best I could hope for”.

She said because of her self-proclaimed beauty, she was constantly surrounded by adoring men who wanted to seduce her, which made her decide to leave her husband and enter into a string of flings, affairs and short-lived relationships.

She said her infidelities weren't entirely her fault, explaining she is “too pretty for her own good”.

However, she received backlash for what some considered 'vanity'.

Her readers were less sympathetic to her “agony”, with many saying her first person article was “ridiculous”, slamming her as “shallow” and “deluded.com”.

Over 4 years later, court to deliver judgment on Cynthia Osokogu’s murder trial today

Justice Olabisi Akinlade of a Lagos High Court will today delivere judgement in the trial of four persons accused of the murder of Cynthia Osokogu, the 24 year old Nassaraw State University post graduate student who was murdered at Cosmilla Hotel, Lakeview Estate in Festac town on July 22nd 2012.
Cynthia had reportedly gone to the hotel to meet with a man whom she met on Facebook but was killed when she got there.

Four persons, Okwumo Nwabufo, 33; Olisaeloka Ezike, 23; Orji Osita, 33, and Ezike Nonso, 25, were arrested in connection with her murder. They were arraigned on a six-count charge of conspiracy, murder, stealing, recklessness, negligence and possession of stolen goods, to which they all pleaded not guilty.

During the proceedings, 10 witnesses with evidence were presented by the prosecuting counsels.
