Former White House photographer, Pete Souza, mocks Donald Trump by comparing his London trip to Obama's

Former White House Photographer Pete Souza has mocked the President of the United States by comparing his actions during his London trip to that of his predecessor.

Donald Trump has been tweeting all through his trip to the UK. His first tweet when he arrived London was to call out the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan
He also called actress Bette Midler a "washed up psycho" and has generally been tweeting in a manner considered unpresidential.

Throwing shade at Mr Trump, Pete Souza shared a throwback photo of Obama in London working on his speech and wrote;

"Back in the day when the President of the United States spent his early morning in London working on his speech instead of tweeting lies and insults

"We keep going to our gay friends' wedding to women even when we know it's wrong" Bisi Alimi addresses a pressing issue

Bisi Alimi has spoken about the rise in the number of gay men marrying unsuspecting straight women. The gay rights activists wrote on Facebook:

We keep going to our gay friends' wedding to a straight women, even when we know it is wrong.

We come home, think about it and ask ourselves is this is really what we should be doing.

Our loyalty is split; do we celebrate our friends who are submitting to the pressure of the society they find themselves. Men who have refused to be the change they seek

Or do we feel pity for the poor woman who is now caught up in this mess? A mess she consciously or unconsciously played a role in by upholding a system of oppression and suppression through homophobia.

Or maybe, like everyone else, we just resign to fate, knowing that we are all a pawn in this game of deceits. The men, the women, the haters and the hated, we all play our roles, we live, we laugh, we cry, and we die.

Sometimes, to be remembered in love or hate, and something to be forgotten even before we are swallowed up by the earth.

Life is what we made of it, but one thing is clear, we are never a passive passerby in this world, we leave out foot prints and we will always be judged for that.

Shut up and act like an elder; I've not left PDP - Jimi Agbaje tells Bode George

Lagos State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the just concluded election, Jimi Agbaje, has asked a former Deputy National Chairman of the PDP, Chief Bode George, to shut up and act as an elder.

The Director of Media and Publicity, Jimi Agbaje Campaign Organisation, Felix Oboagwina, in a statement on Wednesday, said Agbaje described his purported defection as misinformation that should be discountenanced, adding that he had never been a member of the APC and talks of his “returning” to the ruling party had never crossed his mind.

Agbaje was quoted as saying;

“People should please tell Bode George to shut up and leave the PDP if he lacks any value to add to the party, instead of being a dog in the manger hampering the progress of the party in Lagos State. Or how else do you describe someone who just sits down to concoct fiction and markets it as reality? He should tell the world where he got the news being spread round.

“These shameless party leaders have 2023 in mind. The game plan is mischievously simple: Give a dog a bad name and chase it away from the party. By 2023, this mudslinging will have scared off credible people from the party, which will leave the whole field to them to continue to corner party resources.”

The former PDP candidate, however, said he was too big to sneak out of one party into another one. “The reality remains that I have not left PDP for any other party, least of all APC,” he added.
