German police arrests Nigerian suspected of planning terror attack

German police have arrested a 23-year-old Nigerian man and an Algerian,27, suspected of planning an Islamist attack in overnight raids. More than 450 officers took part in the mass raids targeting 12 locations, mostly in the central city of Goettingen in Lower Saxony state, authorities said.
Police investigating the fundamentalist Islamist community had acted on information pointing to "a possibly imminent terrorist attack", said the city's police chief Uwe Luehrig.
The two men, who had both lived for some time in the city with their families, have been detained.
German security services say they consider 550 known Islamists as potentially dangerous and capable of carrying out an attack.
German federal prosecutors, in charge of terrorism cases, have struggled with a flood of investigations against suspects and returned fighters from Syria and Iraq, news magazine Der Spiegel reported last weekend.
Chief prosecutor Peter Frank urgently requested personnel support from Germany's 16 regional state services, complaining in a letter that his national-level service had "reached the limit" of what it could do, the magazine said.

Chen said:

"Beyoncé is not the only superstar expecting twins," she said on the show, "Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney!"According to Entertainment Tonight Canada, actor Matt Damon who is George Clooney's BFF, confirmed the pregnancy news. He said Clooney told him about Amal's pregnancy himself. He said:

“I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying. I was so happy for him”. “And I was like, ‘How far along is she?’ And he goes, ‘Eight weeks."He said he exclaimed and told Clooney:

“‘Are you out of your mind?! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t you know the 12-week rule?’ Like of course he doesn’t.” He continued, “‘Just shut up, man.’ And then four weeks later, I’m like, ‘We’re good right?’” Clooney answered, “We’re good.”

It's amazing that George Clooney, who swore that he'd never get married or ever have a child is now married and expecting two children.

Congratulations to the couple

One of the orders, aimed at "reducing crime and restoring public safety," directs the newly appointed attorney general to establish a new Task Force on Crime Reduction and Public Safety.
The Task Force will develop "strategies to reduce crime, including, in particular, illegal immigration, drug trafficking and violent crime," propose new legislation, and submit at least one report to the President within the next year.

The second executive order is aimed at combating transnational drug cartels, proscribes steps for various federal agencies to "increase intelligence" sharing among law enforcement partners. The order also instructs an existing inter-agency working group to submit a report to Trump within four months detailing the progress made in combating criminal organizations, "along with any recommended actions for dismantling them."

Finally, Trump signed an executive order directing the Justice Department to use existing federal law to prosecute those who commit crimes against law enforcement officers.
