Egypt announces plan to hold referendum on extending President Sisi's rule till 2030

Egypt’s election commission announced today that a referendum potentially allowing President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to stay in office until 2030 will take place on April 20-22. The ballot, featuring several constitutional amendments, was given final approval in parliament on Tuesday.

The changes, if approved, would extend Sisi’s current term to six years from four and then allow him to run again for a third term lasting six years. They would also grant the president new powers over the appointment of judicial officials, bolster the role of the military and create an upper parliamentary chamber.

Sisi came to power after spearheading the removal as president of Mohamed Mursi of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2013. He was elected to a second four-year term in 2018. Sisi’s supporters say the changes are necessary to give him more time to complete major development projects and economic reforms.

His critics say they concentrate more power in the hands of a leader accused by rights groups of presiding over a relentless crackdown on freedoms. Egypt’s 596-member parliament, which is dominated by Sisi supporters, voted 531 to 22 in favour of the amendments.

Anthony Joshua's US debut is in doubt as opponent Jarrell 'Big Baby' Miller 'fails drugs test'

British-Nigerian heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua's American debut is now a doubt after his supposed opponent Jarrell 'Big Baby' Miller was reported to have failed a drugs test.

The 29-year-old was scheduled to fight Miller at New York's Madison Square Garden on June 1.

ESPN, citing three people with knowledge of the situation, said 30-year-old Miller tested positive for banned muscle growth substance GW1516 on March 20. A second sample may now be tested.

The revelation of a negative finding for performance-enhancing drugs now leaves promoter Eddie Hearn looking for another heavyweight to face Anthony Joshua with six weeks to go.

This morning promoter Hearn Tweeted: 'We have been informed by VADA that there has been an adverse finding in Jarrell Miller's sample collected on March 20th, 2019. We are working with all relevant parties and will update with more details soon. AJ's preparation continues for June 1st at MSG.'

'Any woman who screams the name of God during sex will all go to hell' - Ghanaian Prophet claims

Controversial Ghanaian Prophet, Pastor Kumchacha of Heaven’s Gate Ministry in Ghana has claimed that any woman who screams the name of God or Jesus Christ when having sex will end up in hell.

He said that, whether the woman is making love with her husband or boyfriend, once the person screams the name of Jesus Christ during the act, she will not miss hell.

"Whether you are making the love with your husband or your boyfriend, once you scream the name of Jesus Christ while in the act there is no way you will not go to hell”, he revealed during a live television discussion on UTV.

According to him, specially trained angels will subject such people to all forms of severe beatings on judgment day before throwing them into hell because ''shouting the name Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit under such instances constitutes a grievous punishable by being thrown into hell.''

“God is not his personal property it is the omnipresent God we all know. Read Exodus 21:1-7 it says you should not mention the name of God in vain. So while being romanced if you are mentioning the name like that you commit a big sin. If care is not taken you could be flogged one day by invisible hands while in the act”, he added.

Blac Chyna sued by her former landlord over unpaid rent

Blac Chyna is being sued by her former landlord over unpaid rent.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Michael Kremerman is suing Blac Chyna for breaching her lease.

He claims that in 2017, Chyna signed a one-year lease for a 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom, $4.5 million Studio City home from Kremerman at $16,000 a month. He claims she extended the lease until March 31, 2019.

The landlord claims the mother-of-two vacated the home in November 2018 and stopped paying, despite the lease running through March.

Kremerman says he is owed $30,546 in unpaid rent, plus $18,006.06 in damages. This brings it to a grand total of $48,552.06.

Kremerman is suing Chyna for the entire balance, plus attorney fees.
