Musicians in South Africa will go hungry if coronavirus lockdown goes on for more than 3 months - Rapper, Cassper Nyovest

Cassper Nyovest has shared his thoughts about the lockdown order effected by the South African government following increased cases of coronavirus in the country.

Reacting to a tweet on Rihanna's $5m donation to assist in coronavirus relief, the South African rapper stated that they don't have "Rihanna money" and might go hungry if the lockdown order goes on for more than 3 months.

Cassper Nyovest added that they really want to help in the fight against coronavirus, but don't have any money to give.

He tweeted;

We don't have Rihanna money. Truth is, we don't even know what we gone eat if the lockdown goes down for more than 3 months. Maybe if we were supported and stanned like yall stan Drake and Rihanna we would have the money to help. It's not that we don't want to, we don't have.

Husband contracts coronavirus after hosting wedding anniversary party of less than 10 people

An American man has tested positive for coronavirus after hosting his 27th wedding anniversary party with less than 10 people.

According to ABC7, Mr. Emilian White and his wife Kim Gagne, celebrated their anniversary by having a small dinner with a couple of friends not more than ten this past Friday.

After the event, Mr. Emilian developed a fever and started feeling ill. He was later taken to a hospital, where he tested positive for coronavirus.

His wife, Kim, said she thought her husband would just get checked out after getting tested for the virus but she says, "It went from 0 to 100 quickly," as their last simple touch was a fist bump before the shocking news was revealed.

"I didn't know what was happening," she said via Facetime.

"We had people over and that was our mistake. We thought we were okay because we had less than 10 people. But no, don't have anyone in your house," she said.

"He's getting better, but, when they took him for a scan, the minute they took the oxygen off, it becomes very difficult to breathe," she added.

Mrs. Kim Gagne and her children are now in quarantine at home.

“Now I can move and walk to start trying to train, because when I tried in the past few days I started to shake too much.

“I gasped for air and as a result I couldn’t do anything, after five minutes I was already very tired, I felt the body heavy and my muscles hurt.

“Now I’m fine. My fiancée Oriana (Sabatini) has also overcome the symptoms.”

Governor Makinde sacks aide who claimed Governor Sanwo-Olu's coronavirus project as his

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Friday March 27 sacked his Special Assistant on Digital Media, Mr. Muritala Olajide Adigun after he claimed Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu's coronavirus project as his (Makinde).

Adigun had passed off the disinfecting machines Governor Sanwo-Olu brought in for fumigation of public places in Lagos as an Oyo State Government project.

Adigun's sack was made public in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Olubamiwo Adeosun. The letter reads;

“I wish to convey the approval of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, on the termination of your appointment as Special Assistant (Digital Media), with immediate effect”.

The sacked aide has however blamed members of APC (the opposition party in Oyo State) over his ordeal.

Adigun wrote;

“APC agent of darkness that hacked my Facebook account to disseminate this false information about the Oyo State Government yesterday won’t escape the hand of the law.

“You called for it and you’ve gotten it… Thanks to everybody that contributed to my downfall.”

Nigeria is not a joke because of one man - Rapper, Vector tackles FFK, Imam of Peace and northerners

Nigerian rapper, Vector has taken a swipe at former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, popular Islamic cleric Mohammad Tawhidi 'Imam of Peace' and some northerners over their tweets in the last few hours.

The rapper who lashed out at the Imam of Peace over his tweets in which he called out President Buhari, stated that he can't speak for Nigerians who won't speak for themselves.

Vector added that all the Islamic cleric did was disrespect the Nigerian government.

He tweeted;

You can’t speak for people that won’t speak for themselves. You can’t tell us about us more than we know. Until the people speak for themselves, you are just tweeting and sounding like you are aimed at disrespecting the Nigerian govt. that’s not a peaceful stance.

Vector who reacted to FFK's tweet which praised Imam of Peace for taking "President Buhari and his goons" to the cleaners, insisted that Nigeria never become a joke because of one man.

He tweeted;

Let’s not act like the reason why Nigeria is a joke is because of one man sir. We didn’t get here in two terms. Blessings

The rapper also slammed some Northerners who according to him act like they don't know there's poverty in the Northern region of the country. Vector added;

Abi all the northern people no know since say poverty Dey North? The seat of power? The same thing wey Nigerians Dey talk wey Nigerians no go support in solidarity? Na only my mind I know oh! Na only me Dey see as my #Lafiaji people Dey pass anybody wey Dey outside. Goodnight.
