Singer to receive 7 figure advance from Sony Music deal

Wizkid will be receiving a mind blowing advance in US dollars from his record breaking deal with Sony Music's subsidiary RCA Records, according to reports.

“According to sources, Wizkid will receive a 7 figure advance (in US Dollars) and sign to RCA Records who will handle his distribution deal in the United States”, music website NotJustOk reports.

It was revealed on September 13, 2016 Wizkid had signed a deal Sony Music Entertainment and RCA Records

Supreme court affirms the election of Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello

The Supreme court has upheld the election of Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello. A 7-man panel of judges headed by Justice Sylvester Ngwata, today upheld Bello's victory at the November 21st 2015 election and the re-run which was held on December 5th 2015.

The suits challenging Yahaya's victory at the polls was filed by the former Governor of the state, Idris Wada and former deputy governorship candidate of APC during the election, James Faleke.
