Beyonce's stepsister heaps praises on Beyonce's mom, Tina Knowles, calls her "bonus mum"

Ms. Tina Knowles-Lawson might be the biological mother to only two children, yet she has more people who consider her a mother to them. First, it was Kelly Rowland who referred to her as her "bonus mother" during an interview where she told of how Tina Knowles helped her accept herself.

Now, another person has referred to Ms. Tina as her bonus mother and this is coming from Bianca Jasmine Lawson, the daughter of Richard Lawson, Tina's husband.
It is not all the time that you see stepdaughters being very close to their stepmothers, especially if their biological mother is still alive. But for Jasmine and Tina, their relationship is really cordial.

Jasmine shared a photo she took with her biological mother, Denis Gordy, but her praise was mostly for Beyonce's mom, who made her the lovely dress she was wearing. She wrote about Ms. Tina in glowing terms while thanking her for the lovely dress.

"My incredibly artistic mother and I at the #wearableartgala this weekend. She basically lives in wearable art her entire life. Thank you @mstinalawson for my beautiful butterfly dress #FreedomAndRebirth. Thank you @lorraineschwartz for my beautiful jewelry. Congratulations dad and bonus mom on raising almost 1 million to mentor, support and inspire young people who wouldn't otherwise be exposed to the arts or this kind of support system. #GivingBack #EveryoneNeedsSomeoneToBelieveInThem #wacotheatercenter " she wrote.

Michelle Obama takes a swipe at Trump for ending her girls' education program

Michelle Obama just knows how to be classy in all she does, even when it involves calling someone out. The former first lady has shared a photo indirectly letting Trump know that there's no stopping what she has started, even if he succeeds in doing it on an administrative level.

Yesterday, CNN obtained an internal document which revealed that President Donald Trump will discontinue a signature girls' education initiative championed by Michelle Obama when she was the First lady of the United States. The initiative, called "Let Girls Learn" was started by Michelle and Barack Obama in 2015 to facilitate educational opportunities for young girls in developing countries. Hours after CNN reported on the change by the Obama administration, the White House backtracked and said the program had not changed.

Minutes ago, Michelle shared a photo of her with some young girls and her caption looks like it was directed at the Trump administration, almost as though she were saying to them that come what may, her cause for girl child education will continue.

"Excited by the potential of the Obama Pres. Center. Barack & I will continue to champion the issues close to our hearts, including girls ed." she wrote.

Facebook plans to hire 3,000 content monitors to combat Live-Streamed murders

Following the high rate of life-streamed suicide, hate speech, crimes and child abuse being broadcast on the platform live, Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg says he will be recruiting 3000 workers as its 'community operations team' to help review content.

According to Zuckerberg, the additional staff, joining the 4,500 existing people on the community operations team, would help the company in responding quickly whenever content are being reported.

Facebook has been criticized recently for not doing enough to prevent videos of such murders and suicides from spreading on its service.

Videos and posts that glorify violence are against Facebook's terms of service but in most cases, users have to report them to the company for them to be reviewed and possibly removed.

In a Facebook post, he said:

'Over the last few weeks, we've seen people hurting themselves and others on Facebook -- either live or in a video posted later. It's heartbreaking, and I've been reflecting on how we can do better for our community.

If we're going to build a safe community, we need to respond quickly. We're working to make these videos easier to report so we can take the right action sooner -- whether that's responding quickly when someone needs help or taking a post down.

Over the next year, we'll be adding 3,000 people to our community operations team around the world -- on top of the 4,500, we have today -- to review the millions of reports we get every week, and improve the process for doing it quickly.

These reviewers will also help us get better at removing things we don't allow on Facebook like hate speech and child exploitation. And we'll keep working with local community groups and law enforcement who are in the best position to help someone if they need it -- either because they're about to harm themselves, or because they're in danger from someone else.

In addition to investing in more people, we're also building better tools to keep our community safe. We’re going to make it simpler to report problems to us, faster for our reviewers to determine which posts violate our standards and easier for them to contact law enforcement if someone needs help. As these become available they should help make our community safer.

This is important. Just last week, we got a report that someone on Live was considering suicide. We immediately reached out to law enforcement, and they were able to prevent him from hurting himself. In other cases, we weren't so fortunate.

No one should be in this situation in the first place, but if they are, then we should build a safe community that gets them the help they need
