You are a small boy from Mushin - Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige drags Hon. Faleke (video)

Chris Ngige, minister of labour and employment who appeared before a house of representatives ad hoc committee investigating the suspension of the management of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), dragged Hon James Faleke who he threatened with a lawsuit days ago.

Before answering questions, Ngige stated that members of the committee were his younger brothers except for Faleke who he said might be up to 60.

However after the lawmaker representing Ikeja federal constituency interrupted and disclosed that he is over 60, the Minister further insisted that he is a small boy as he (Ngige) is in same age bracket with Faleke's mentor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

He said;

“So you are near my age, at least I am seven years older than you. I’m the same age with your mentor in Lagos, Asiwaju.

“And I was governor with him at the same time. He was a senator, I was a senator. I am a two time minister, he isn’t a two time minister.”

After Faleke interrupted again by saying that Tinubu “won all his elections very well" ( a remark which appeared as a shade to Ngige whose election as governor of Anambra state was nullified in 2006), the Minister fired back by saying;

"No problem about that, just like you won your own in Kogi state very well. And you are now the deputy governor and governor of Kogi state.”

Faleke was running mate to Abubakar Audu in the 2015 Kogi governorship election, but was denied the governorship ticket when Audu suddenly died before the election was completed.

When the lawmaker asked Ngige to respond to the questions he was asked, he said “I’m responding my friend, if you yab me, I yab you ten times. I am a Lagos boy, you are just a small boy in Lagos. Look at this Mushin boy, he’s talking with a VI boy. I lived in Victoria Island. Look at this Mushin boy from Kogi o.”

Prince Harry seen as 'liability' for monarchy as his popularity plummets among Brits

Prince Harry is now considered a liability to the monarchy after a poll revealed that his popularity has plummeted among Brits.

The royal who stepped down from his senior duties in March 2020, is regarded as a liability by 38 percent of participants of a poll conducted by The Sun.

While just nine percent of participants of a similar poll regarded Harry as a liability in 2012, only 35 percent of participants regard him as an asset to the British nation in the new poll.

The lowest ranking royal in this poll is Prince Andrew who 80 percent of poll takers see as a liability. Only four percent regard him as an asset.

The Queen remains the most popular royal. Her Majesty has an 81 percent approval rating, and is followed by Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Charles. Meghan Markle is seen as a liability by 51% of those polled and as an asset by 24%.

Last November Harry left for Canada with Meghan, only to announce in January that they would be stepping down from their senior royal duties. The couple now reside in Los Angeles in Tyler Perry's owned mansion. It is unknown when and if they will return to the UK.

'He is extraordinary'- Juventus coach Sarri heaps praise on Cristiano Ronaldo after he becomes quickest player to score 50 Serie A goals

Juventus manager, Maurizio Sarri has hailed superstar footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo after the footballer broke another record by becoming the quickest player to reach 50 goals in Serie A.

The Portuguese scored twice within three minutes against Lazio to help his club's quest to clinch the Serie A after he converted a penalty and then scored from a swift counter attack following a pass from Paulo Dybala in the 2-1 victory.

The brace took him to 51 Serie A goals in total but he became the quickest to reach half a century, doing so in just 61 league games.

Former AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko previously held the record by getting to 50 goals in 68 games, while Brazilian Ronaldo reached the 50 mark in 70 appearances.

Sarri praising Ronaldo, said;

“When Cristiano smells blood… He’s extraordinary, as he recovers so quickly between games,’ Sarri said to Sky Sport Italia.

“It’s not just physical, but psychological.

“He could be someone who uses up so much energy in each game, but he recovers it every time and he’s world class in the mind as well as the legs.”

Ronaldo also became the first player to score at least 50 goals in the Premier League, LaLiga and Serie A.

His 51 goals in Italy go alongside his 84 in the English Premier League, and 311 in LaLiga make Ronaldo's feats look supernatural. The star player, however, played down his achievements.

“Records are always important, but the most important thing is that the team wins,” Ronaldo said.

“We are a phenomenal team and we showed that again today, although we always want to improve and raise the bar.”

Kanye West is holed up in ‘super secure’ bunker and ‘doesn’t trust’ wife Kim Kardashian or her family

Billionaire rapper, Kanye West is holed up in a secure bunker in his £11.82m Wyoming ranch and has told close friends that he doesn't trust wife, Kim Kardashian and her mum Kris Jenner according to reports.

The rapper, who is running for US President, shocked fans early Tuesday morning July 21, by going on a Twitter rant accusing Kim and her mother Kris Jenner of “trying to lock him up” .

On Sunday June 19, during a rally for his campaign, he claimed that he stopped Kim from aborting their daughter North, now 7. “I almost killed my daughter,” he said while crying.

The rapper's behaviour in recent weeks has raised concern that he is suffering from a bipolar disorder.

In Kanye’s now-deleted Twitter rant, he told Kris and Kim to “call him” and “come and get him” before adding: “Kim tried to bring a doctor to lock me up with a doctor. If I get locked up like Mandela Y'all will know why."

Then, referencing the horror movie Get Out in which an Black man is tormented by his white girlfriend's family, he posted: "'Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughters life yesterday."

He also accused Kris of "avoiding his calls" before ranting how his wife "would never photograph" their seven-year-old daughter North "doing playboy" in an apparent dig about how mother in law Kris booked Kim a shoot with the magazine in December 2007. Sister Kylie also stripped off for the mag in 2019.

Following his tweets and rally outburst, his wife Kim Kardashian, has told friends she’s “living through the worst nightmare of her life” according to Sun Online.

“Kanye has a compound at the ranch in Wyoming. He’s had a lot of building work going on there and a lot of it is geared towards security." Insiders speaking to The Sun Online said.

“There’s an underground bunker, a panic room originally built for the family to go to in an emergency, stocked up with food.

“Kanye’s surrounded himself with a small group of people he trusts, and he doesn’t trust Kim or her family."

“He changed his Twitter and social media passwords last week to lock everyone out.

“He’s very paranoid and is convinced that he needs ‘protection’ from Kim and Kris - even though they’re only trying to help him.”

“Kim says she’s living through the worst nightmare of her life right now,” the insider added.

“She’s furious about how this will affect their kids, and feels incredibly sad for North. For Kanye to bring that up, to say it in public without giving her the chance to add context or explain what was going on, is such a betrayal for her.

“She’s also terrified for Kanye and his safety. Normally Kanye is so private that he won’t let the reality show cameras film in their house and has a long list of rules around filming their children, so for him to say something so private so publicly, something is very wrong.

“Originally Kim was happy that Kanye chose to go to Wyoming as he’s always calmer when he’s there. Now she’s regretting it.”
