EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Afro Beat music can not be destroyed by promoters in Finland -

CALEBIN We receieved an exlusive report that confirmed that theirs serious rivalry between show promoters in Finland. And as a major star artiste in that country we wish to know your take on the matter; ‘first is it true theirs an on-going beef’
CALEBIN: Well, I think what is already out and in the public eyes can no longer be hiding. Its no longer news that yes, theirs indifference among show promoters here in Finland and in Europe in general. But then it is not a worst case or beyond repair. The story is that our beloved Musical genre Afrobeat is being run in Finland in a negative way which doesn't portray our values and ideas as Africans….. Whats your take on the matter?
CALEBIN: Promoters in Finland and Europe as a whole often tend to share and promote hatred instead of love which has divided the afrobeat lovers in Finland. its no secret afrobeat music growth was built on Unity and love and if the promoters in Finland doesn't start standing together in unity then there might be an immediate collapse on the music scene. Probably the patronage is low that’s why they try to push each other aside …..
CALEBIN: I think Afrobeat music is big and has gotten to the level of selling it events, and not trying to defame each other in the name of promoting your own event. Do you think what happened could lead to a worst case scenerio than it already is at the moment ...what is your prediction? CALEBIN:
What has happened has happened, i do not think digging deep into the past would do any good. All i seek and all i stand for is peace. I believe the parties involved are matured minds and could look back and pick out were they got it all wrong and make amends. We should promote brotherhood and unity after all that is what Afrobeat is all about... peace. Yes, it is business but then do It right without envy. What’s your view and advice in respect to what has happened? Afro Beat music is loved here in Finland and can not be totally destroyed by rivalry among show promoters. As a top Afrobeat artist representing Finland in Europe and Nigeria, I stand to object every idea & suggestions of defaming others in order to promote your events. Promoters hosting events same dates, calling other promoters names, Tearing posters of other promoters events should stop. With due respect, before bringing your artist make sure you have the financial strength and capable of promoting your event to avoid a flopped one.
