Ghanaian Record Producer & Artist Jayso surprised his fans with a free 6-track EP on his birthday June 1st. The EP is titled after the day the Skillions founder was born 01/06. Thus 0106 EP.
Surprisingly, Jayso did not produce any of the songs. He worked with younger super talented producers. They are Drvmroll, Yung Fly, MikeMillzOnEm and DJ Juls. The EP also features upcoming talents Copta,TiTi and Akan.
Jayso took to twitter to explain how the project came about. According to the gifted Emcee and Producer, he started working on the 0106 EP 6 days to his birthday. He also went further to explain the concept behind the artwork. He said and we quote:
“The message is Producers like myself are the KingMakers. The KingMakers most artists fail to acknowledge” – @jaysoskillions.
