As the first northern Nigeria hip-hop artiste to be verified on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, Deezell, for many, might need no introduction as he has almost become a household name in the industry. Known by many as a diglot simply for his perfect infusion of English and Hausa into the lyrical content of his songs. No doubt, Deezell is sure out to take hold of the music industry soonest.
Deezell, who is based in the U.S.A, however, became famous following his hit songs Girma and Ubansu that rocked the airwaves for some time. Also, “Vault“, the title to his first mixtape project, was endorsed by many to be quite an artistic masterpiece. The mixtape featured some top notch artistes like Quinn & Yung6ix.
The song “Kano City” just as the name implied is one which talked about the emcee’s love and proud representation of the biggest commercial city in Nigeria. Whether a northerner or not, but as a Nigerian the song is sure meant to make you proud of your country, especially the city where you hail from.
