Gigolos star, Ash Armands charged with murder for 'beating his girlfriend' to death

Ash Armand, best known for appearing in the Showtime series, "Gigolos," has been charged with the murder for allegedly beating his girlfriend to death.

In a press release statement issued last night, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated that they responded to an emergency call after a woman who is believed to be the 38-year-old's girlfriend, was found unresponsive.

By the time police arrived, they discovered the woman was deceased and “showed signs of trauma”. The TV star was then arrested at the scene.

According to the statement, detectives stated that the two were "friends" and that the TV star who appeared in Season 3 of "Gigolos," is thought to have been "under the influence of narcotics" when he allegedly "beat the woman to death."

Armand was arrested on one count of open murder and was taken to the Clark County Detention Center where he is reportedly being held without bail.

Police say the Clark County Coroner's Office will identify the woman alongside the cause and manner of her death once her family is notified.

Armand appeared on season three of Gigolos which ended in 2016 after six seasons.

A video which captured moment 21-year-old Tyrese Devon Haspil, the former personal assistant of Gokada CEO, Fahim Saleh, was arrested for his gruesome murder in his $2.2m luxury New York penthouse has surfaced online.

The former PA reportedly attacked and killed Saleh on Monday, July 13, took his credit card, used it to buy cleaning supplies and returned to the New York apartment on Tuesday where he dismembered him. He stopped and escaped from the back staircase after Saleh's sister unexpectedly came to the flat to check on her brother when he didn't pick her calls.

Police think Haspil killed Saleh in other to avoid paying back tens of thousands of dollars he stole from the tech entrepreneur. Saleh had found out his PA had stolen from him and instead of reporting him to the authorities, he terminated his employment and set up a repayment plan for Haspil to pay him back. Haspil chose instead to kill him. Police think this was the motive for the murder.

The case is just getting better - Hushpuppi's lawyer, Gal Pissetzky reacts to report that he dumped the alleged fraudster

Gal Pissetzky, a top Chicago lawyer who is representing suspected Internet fraudster, Ramon Abass, aka Hushpuppi, has said that his case is getting better though he was denied bail and transferred to California.

The lawyer who denied reports that he had dumped the suspect, told Punch he would still be standing for him in California where the case has been transferred to.

He also told the publication that Hushpuppi still stands a good chance of being acquitted.

Pissetzky said;

“I am still representing him. I will be in California for the case.

“Our legal system is quite different from yours. That he was denied bail does not mean his case is getting worse. Actually, I think it’s getting better. I am not, however, allowed to comment on the facts of the case.

“There is no new evidence put forward by the FBI at this point. Whatever news report that suggests things are getting worse for him is not true.”

NDDC has failed Niger Delta – Gbajabiamila

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila has stated that the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has failed the region in spite of the huge funds at its disposal.

Speaking during an investigative hearing on the alleged financial mismanagement in the NDDC, Gbajabiamila stated that the people of Niger Delta are yet to benefit from the commission which was established 20 years ago.

He said;

“In the over two decades since, that promise has not been kept. Despite its critical importance and the vast sums that have been appropriated by the Federal Government, the Niger Delta of Nigeria continues to score exceptionally low on many of the major human development indices.

“These statistics reflect the reality of disease and deprivation, lack of opportunity and broken dreams that is the plight of many of our fellow citizens in the region.

“It is therefore particularly disturbing and quite frankly, embarrassing that every other news report about the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) seems to centre around escalating allegations of corruption and malfeasance.

"The purpose of this investigative hearing is to ask why the failure persists and to do so with a determination to understand the causes of that failure so that the parliament can act to redeem the NDDC and remove those factors that imperil the commission’s noble mission.

“We will examine the allegations of corruption and malfeasance that have dogged the commission. We will do so with neither fear nor favour, confident in the assurance that we have both a constitutional duty and moral obligation to ensure that the enormous sums of money appropriated to the NDDC over the years are appropriately accounted for by those whose responsibility it has been to manage this important and all too essential public trust.”

Gbajabiamila added that the success of the investigation will depend on the willingness of the various ‘stakeholders’ in the commission, within government and in the local communities, to cooperate with the committee.

He said;

“I encourage all the stakeholders to consider this investigative hearing as a last-ditch effort to save the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and to engage with this committee in a patriotic partnership to break the jinx of underdevelopment in the Niger Delta region."

Cardi B told one of such commenters, "She got all the Barbie d."

Later, Cardi took to her Instagram Story to address the topic of their recent extravagant purchase.

The 27-year-old said: "Yea, kids only care about toys and candy. But the thing is, kids also go outside. Kids go to restaurants, kids go to fancy places. Celebrity kids, they go do red carpets.

"And if I'm fly, and daddy's fly, then so is the kid. If I'm wearing Cha-nay-nay, my kid's having the same thing. It's not up to what the kids like. If it was the kids, they'd be outside in diapers.

"No, cause if I was looking like a bad b***h, expensive b***h, and I had my kid looking like a bum bum, then y'all would be talking s***. So, I'm not mad that daddy bought baby a Birkin. She gonna match mommy."
