Joe Jonas appears to be at the receiving end of a sharp dig from his ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid .

The supermodel stepped out in New York wearing a t-shirt adorned with the words 'lol UR not Zayn Malik' just hours after his performance at American festival Wango Tango.

Gigi's current boyfriend Zayn Malik and her ex Jonas both appeared at the event and narrowly missed each other as they performed individual sets.

However, it was to hard not to miss the fact both former boybanders looked very similar as they donned black leather jackets to sing their solo records.

While Zayn opted for an all black look, Joe teamed his wet look jacket with cream trousers.

The hunky singers have often been compared to each other with the 26-year-old recently saying the comparison is 'comical'.

Gigi, 21, split with the Jonas brother at the end of 2015 citing their busy schedules getting in the way of their five-month relationship.





But it wasn't long before rumours began swirling that Gigi was dating One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik.

She went public with Zayn earlier this year and the couple have been spotted looking extremely loved-up and even did a Vogue photoshoot together .




Joe spoke out about how quickly his supermodel girlfriend had moved on telling 3am last month : "I think it’s interesting that she moved on so quickly, I mean it was definitely very quick."

The former Jonas Brothers hunk is now fronting new band DNCE and can at least find some humour in comparisons made between him and the ex-One Direction star.

He says: “It’s comical that I’m compared to him. That dude and I have been compared for years, I think it’s just funny. To be honest I haven’t really listened to his music, but he can sing well.”
