Oritsefemi addresses claims he abandoned his late former band mate, Chi Jungulist

Oristefemi has come out with an explanation after he was slammed by fans online for allegedly abandoning his former friend and coming online to mourn him after he died.

In a post he shared on his IG page, the singer blamed Chi Jungulist's friends for not speaking out on time when he first took ill until it got serious. Read what he wrote below

He was a brave man .... he was the first to travel abroad among the both of us #china he was very talented, he know I love him ? he know I can take any shot on his behalf ... he was so sick for so long, his so called new friends kept it on till when it got worse for him, that was when I was informed... and I sent money to them immediately to take him straight to the hospital... the so called friends told me the truth that my brother can not survive it anymore that he has to take him back to his mum ..

my problem is why they waited for this long... if y’all are true friends... no one can bring out money except me ... nobody .. all of you guys should have contributed 1k each if you truly want him to survive, but I did my part am not super rich but have stood for so many people in this life, I took my fellow brothers problems first before facing my own .

There is no need to throw stones at anyone or throw blames! If I choose not to publicize how I help, doesn’t mean I don’t do my part! We can all be our brothers keepers.
No more comment from me!

Rest In Peace my brother, chibudo obinkwo.

Evil spirits have made the government house in Anambra State their abode - Governor Obiano

Prof. Solo Chukwubelu, secretary to the Anambra state government, who spoke on behalf of Governor Willie Obiano at an Anglican Prayer rally in the capital, said evil spirits have made the government house in Awka their abode.

He did not indicate which rooms they occupy, but pleaded with Bishop of Ogbaru, Rev. Prosper Amah, who presided over the Prayer Rally to pray for the ejection of the evil spirits permanently, to allow government focus in providing service to the people.

“In the government House, the evil spirits come and go. We urge the church to pray hard to let them leave the government for good” Chukwubelu said.

The prayer rally with the theme “The Righteous shall Flourish like Palm Tree”, was held at the Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, under the auspices of the Province of the Niger, Anglican Prayer Rally of Anambra State (APRAS) 2019.

Rev. Amah, in his sermon had said there are evil spirits in the society and also in the Government House, that come and go. However, the Archbishop, Province of Niger and Bishop, Dioceses of Awka, the Most Rev. Alexander Ibezim, put the evil spirits in human garb and declared that the evil spirits in the Government House are actually human beings.

He urged the governor to deal decisively with them to leave the State House. “The government should fight evil spirits in the State house, while the church will fight those outside the Government House,” he said.

US lawyer James Cline jailed for two years in Cambodia for having sex with three underage girls

An American lawyer, Rugh James Cline has been jailed by a Cambodian court on charges of sexual abuse of three underage girls.

He was sentenced to two years and months in jail, according to Ying Srang, a spokesman for the Siem Reap Provincial Court.

Srang said Cline was convicted over ‘indecent acts against minors under 15 years of age’. The court heard that Cline he paid three underage girls for sex during visits in February and May 2019. The court also ordered Cline, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, to pay 15 million riels (US$3,750) in compensation to each of the girls.

An NGO investigating suspected foreign pedophiles in Cambodia, ‘Action Pour Les Enfants’, says the victims told police that he paid them a total of $120. The group, known by the acronym APLE, identified Cline as a lawyer.

The Cambodian penalty for purchase of child prostitution can go as far as 15 years imprisonment when the child is under 15 years old. APLE says that poverty and poor law enforcement make Cambodia a magnet for foreign pedophiles.
