VIDEO: SK ft. Mystro & Sona – Passé

VIDEO: SK ft. Mystro & Sona – Passé

SK drafts in Mystro & Sona to bless this soulful yet rhythmic hit ‘Passé’.

‘SK on the Ting ooo…’ a perfect song reflecting the way Naija & UK Afro Sounds compliment each other so well.

Mystro opens up with his heavily synthesized vocals, which are reminiscent of his Summer smash with Wizkid that went Viral during Kanye West’s visit to Uganda recently. Sona receives the baton and takes it straight to that UK Afro Sound we are now becoming very familiar with. Before SK states his claim. The song is a perfect blend of Authentic Afro sounds from Naija and the UK sound which fused with a number of popular genres i.e. Grime and Rap. The beat itself will give you unlimited hours of playful dance, whether you Shaku to it with friends or you’re dancing with a babe!

‘Passé’ is taken off SK’s first body of work ‘Sounds of S Kiddy’, which is commanding a lot of respect up to date and is a prime example of the Afro Sounds Hailing over in the UK. It debuted at Number 2 on the iTunes World Chart, which is great testament SK’s talent on his first release.

Kidnappers of Zamfara twin sisters reduce ransom to N15m, vow to kill one if payment not made on time

The kidnappers that abducted 16-year-old twin sisters in Zamfara have threatened to kill one of the girls if payment of their ransom is not made on time.

Hassana and Hussaina, whose wedding was slated for December, were abducted at their elder sister's residence in Dauran village in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State. They had visited their sister, Summaya, 20, in preparation for their wedding. Their father, Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf, said the kidnappers had initially demanded N150 million.

A family member, Ibrahim Abubakar, who spoke with the kidnappers and the twins on phone said the kidnappers had reduced the ransom to N15million.

“We are only able to get N6m selling our properties and receiving contributions from family members, politicians, traders and ordinary people,” Mr Abdubakar told Daily Nigerian on Thursday night.

In an audio clip that had since gone viral on Facebook, one of the twin sisters, Hussaina was heard sobbing, complaining about maltreatment and appealing for help.

“I am battling with headache. We are in dire situation, they are about to kill us,” Hussaina sobbed. The beat us every morning. Please help rescue us. Even yesterday, they slaughtered some people in our presence. We are starving. Please get contributions even from the general public.”

But one of the abductor cut in, saying the call would be the last he would make with the twins as they failed to deliver the ransom.

Man narrates to presidential panel how F-SARS shot him in the leg

Adetiba Sunday, an aluminium fabricator, on Thursday, narrated to a presidential panel how an officer attached to the Federal Special Anti-robbery Squad, Magbon, Abeokuta, Godwin Ogedengbe, shot him in the leg.

Sunday told the panel that he was at his workplace when Ogedengbe and his team members arrested him. The panel, which was set up by the then Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osibajo, is saddled with the responsibility of hearing and investigating complaints against the SARS and make recommendations to the government on how the police unit can be reformed.

The panel began hearing the complaints on Tuesday and at Thursday’s sitting, Sunday said he was not taken to the hospital after being shot in the leg, adding that none of his family members knew his whereabouts at the time.

He stated, “When I was arrested at Ogijo, Ogedengbe shot me in the leg and took me to the Ogijo Police Station before I was transferred to Magbon in Abeokuta. When I was brought to the Ogijo Police Station, I met four other suspects, whom Ogedengbe asked if they knew me.

One of the suspects said he knew me; when Ogedengbe asked if I knew them, I said no. My reply infuriated him as he slapped me, pushed me face down to the ground, and started kicking me on the floor. After four or five days at Magbon, I was brought out of the cell to write my statement, but I refused because I didn’t know what my offence was.

Ogedengbe, who is an inspector of police, told me to stretch forward my second leg; he threatened to shoot at the leg if I didn’t write a statement. He later wrote the statement himself.”

The victim added, “I was in detention for about a month before I was taken to court. I was charged alongside six or seven people to court for conspiracy and cultism. I never knew these people. Before I was taken to court, my family searched for me. When they could not find me, they concluded that I was dead. It was when the officers took me to my house for a search that my family members knew I was still alive. We attended the court proceedings about eight times before we were discharged for lack of diligent prosecution.”

Sunday told the panel that after he was discharged by the court, Ogedengbe still threatened to send him back to prison. Ogedengbe, however, denied the allegations against him, adding that Sunday was someone that he had good a relationship with and could not have shot him.

He said, “my team was sent to Ogijo due to clashes between the residents and land grabbers. We arrested one Rafiu, who made a statement about the members of his gang and Sunday’s name came up.

It was at the police station that one officer said Sunday was a notorious cult member, who had different types of weapons. We investigated and after investigation, we charged him to court for conspiracy and cultism.

I have a good relationship with Sunday; he is a notorious criminal, who might have got his injury from elsewhere. I cannot threaten someone that gives me information; Sunday is our informant because my team members pay him for that.”

"The truth will come out" - Nelly hits back as woman accuses him of sexual assault and sues him

Nelly as hit back at sexual assault allegations after his accuser filed a lawsuit against him following an alleged sexual assault at one of his concerts in the UK.

The woman, simply known as "Jane Doe", claims that Nelly, 44, masturbated in front of her at his meet and greet following his concert in Southend, Essex, in December 2017. She also claims that he dropped his trousers and told her he wanted to ejaculate on her.

This isn't the first time Nelly is being accused of sexual assault. The raper was accused of rape by Monique Greene during an incident two months prior to the UK concert. But they "mutually settled" the case. This time around he is hitting back at his new accuser.

Monique Greene

In a statement to MailOnline, Nelly said:

I’ve been quiet for some time. But these baseless allegations hurt more than just me. The truth will come out, and I will be vindicated.

He adds:

These types of false allegations undermine real claims of sexual abuse / harassment by real victims.

The singer also described the effects the accusations had on his girlfriend Shantel Jackson, who is also being sued by Jane Doe for reportedly calling her a liar on Twitter.

In the lengthy message, Nelly admitted that he "took responsibility" for his infidelity to Shantel following his "consensual sex" with Monique and is currently "repairing the trust with his girlfriend."

Nelly and Shantel

He continued in his statement:

To go after my girlfriend as well is unfair and goes too far. Shantel has been through enough. I am a father to a beautiful strong woman. I was raised by a strong single woman. I love them all very much.

I own my actions and take responsibility for my conduct with Monique Greene. We had CONSENSUAL sex after meeting in a club. Period. I have been living in the limelight for my entire adult life.

I have had zero allegations or issues in the past, I knew better! And for that I had to deal with the repercussions of my poor choice. I am repairing the trust that I broke with Shantel, I have apologized to my family and friends for the embarrassment I have caused them. And, I am committed to be a better man.

Monique Greene pursued civil legal action against me, when no criminal charges were filed or pursued. I responded with civil claims of my own against her. Ultimately, we both agreed to dismiss our claims against each other.

Now, that the same lawyer has filed or threatened to file a “Jane doe” lawsuit. I do NOT plan on walking away quietly. I have to speak up for my family and for the real victims strong enough to come forward and face people that have actually assaulted them.

I want to thank Shantel, my family, friends, and fans that have stood next to me through all of this, and know my real character.
