CNN host Chris Cuomo shares his secret to kicking Coronavirus (video)

CNN host, Chris Cuomo has shared what he says is his "secret" to kicking coronavirus.

While on his show, Cuomo Prime Time, the anchor who shared his coronavirus diagnosis with viewers last week, updated them on his condition.

"I feel better than I deserve," he told neurosurgeon and CNN chief medical correspondent Sanjay Gupta.

He said the secret is to "do things" and not just "lay down". He adds that beating the virus is "about your will."

Cuomo shared an insight that he learned on the virus. He said a pulmonary expert who was a "friend of a friend" challenged him to get off the couch and "fight" the virus.

He said that before his conversation with the pulmonary expert, he was planning not to do the show.

He said: "I was not going to do the show tonight. I was done. I was in a pool of sweat."

However, he said he realized that "you’ve got to do things to beat this virus. You’ve got to breathe deep when it hurts, and I know it hurts." He added, "I’m not trying to minimize anybody’s pain."

At another point in the program, Cuomo told viewers, "The virus wants us to lay down. The virus wants us to take it. Other than the blessed few, the rest of us who get this are going to have an experience unlike anything else they’ve ever had, days and waves.

"The old notion of ‘Get in bed and stay there when you get sick,’ it sounds great. And if you’re really up against it, you need to do as little as possible. I’ve been there. Trust me, I know, but you can’t stay there."

A Taxi driver was reportedly beaten to death yesterday by security operatives, for carrying passengers who were not wearing face masks.

An eyewitness @ayebechristopher, revealed that the incident occurred at Marian in Calabar, Cross River State's capital.

He said the driver who was wearing a face mask when he was stopped, was beaten by security operatives till he collapsed. He was confirmed dead thereafter.

The Instagram user wrote;

WHO said only wear Mask if you’re sick or taking care of a sick person but the Governor of CRS with his own eye service, so they’ll say he’s fighting Corona too came out and said you must wear Nose Mask else you stay indoors, (that’s actually not the problem) but why not give the Law Enforcement Agents you’re using proper orientation.

Now they’ve killed someone. Shey you’re happy now ? Is that what other States with Covid-19 cases are doing ? No confirmed case in Calabar yet and you’ve started killing people. This is really sad. The mask you even said you’ll distribute was only distributed in Government House. Na wa ooo
