In a motion on the floor of the senate, Dino mentioned names of other Nigerians whom he alleged were complicit in the act. He said;

“The senate notes with serious concern the repatriation of $13.92bn illegally out of Nigeria by Mobile Telecommunication Limited (MTN) through its‎ bankers between 2006 and 2016. TMZ claims separate baby showers were in the works for Rob K & Blac Chyna, but he had no idea!

TMZ has shared a new update on the drama between Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna and the Kardashian sisters. For starters, Rob had publicly shared his younger sister Kylie's phone number in revenge against his family for allegedly planning a baby shower without inviting his pregnant fiancee.

This was reportedly a case of misinformation, as Rob had no idea about what was actually going on. Read below.

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are seriously on the outs, and Kylie Jenner got caught in the cross fire when she planned a baby shower for Rob sans Chyna ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the Kardashians tell us Rob got pissed at his sisters Monday -- especially Kylie -- for what he considered a slap in the face ... the Chyna-free shower they were throwing. We're told the sisters only planned separate his and hers showers because Rob and Chyna haven't been speaking for months.

They briefly reunited for a dinner the night before their reality show premiered, but other than that ... they've been split.

Still, Rob was pissed when he learned BC wouldn't be at the shower -- so he skipped it, and dialed up some revenge by tweeting Kylie's phone number. Thing is ... we're told Chyna had agreed separate showers were best.

Rob wasn't told that until after the fact, and we're told he's still pissed, We're guessing Kylie will have to get that number changed.

Sale of national assets: NLC prepares for nationwide protest

President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Ayuba Wabba, while addressing journalists in Abuja yesterday described the proposed decision of the government to sell off national assets as reckless auctioning of the nation’s commonwealth to a bunch of capitalists and associates of the government.

Wabba, said if the dialogue with the government to stop the sale of national assets failed, it would mobilise its members all over the country to embark on a nationwide protest adding that the Congress is also considering the option of dragging the Federal Government to court.

He also said:

“The Panama Papers leaks which up till now have not been investigated, in other states, it has been investigated and the veracity of the allegation has also been proved. “I think because certain individuals who are also now canvassing the sale of our national assets may be reason these issues have not investigated. We demand that those issues must continue to be investigated.
“Therefore, transferring our commonwealth to the ownership of a few will further impoverish all of us. I think it is high time even for government to try to take stock of all enterprises that have been privatised before now and what is their state. “What comes to mind is the power sector, which was privatised for over three years now. I am sure that all of us will agree that no value was added, instead they have been exploited.
“We have been paying bills that cannot be justified. Even to provide meters have nearly been difficult even with the pronouncement by the court that they reverse the tariff, it has certainly not received any attention.”
Wabba said that it made no sense to sell off the national assest due to the previous privatisation programmes which were embarked on in the past that failed.

He said:

“These are clear avenues where such instances have been used to undermine our commonwealth and also few people have actually taken over those very strategic assets. “We are, therefore, restating our position that we are opposed to the sale of those strategic assets in whatever guise in order to try to address the challenges in the economic.
“We say this very patriotically, and we say this with the best of intention. I think the consequences would be more dangerous if we don’t take necessary steps now to protect those important national assets. It would also not serve any public good if those assets found themselves in the hands of a few.

release tax records when Hillary releases 33,000 deleted emails' - All the major talking points of the U.S Presidential debate

So on Tuesday morning (Nigerian time), U.S presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton took to the stage to have the first presidential debate ahead of the November 2016 elections.

Donald Trump did well in the first 20 minutes while Hillary had the upper hand during the closing stages of the debate. A lot of political analysts believe Hillary defeated Trump overall during the debate with the way she tackled some important issues looking more prepared and assured during the debate. See the major talking points after the cut....

Asked about a remark he made that Mrs. Clinton lacked a presidential “look,” Mr. Trump repeated the claim saying “she doesn’t have the stamina.”

Mrs. Clinton replied him saying 'Mr. Trump can talk to me about stamina when he accomplishes as much. “He tried to change from looks to stamina, but this is a man who has called women pigs, slobs and dogs,”

“Donald supported the invasion of Iraq,” she said. “That is absolutely proved over and over again.' To which Trump interjected ' Wrong , wrong'.

Mr. Trump insisted again that he had opposed the Iraq war, calling any suggestion otherwise “a mainstream media nonsense.”
“my strongest asset is my temperament, maybe by far,” ''Hillary doesn't have the temperament to be president''

Hillary also said Trump invited Russian president Vladmir Putin to hack into American email servers while Mr Trump categorically stated that no one knows who hacked into American servers.

'No one knows if Russia was behind the recent hacks' 'It might be China or a single hacker who weighs 400 pounds and sits at home.'

Clinton suggested she was worried about Mr. Trump getting his hands on the nuclear codes, Mr. Trump replied, “That line is getting a little bit old.”

Asked about the conspiracy theory that questioned Obama’s birth place, Trump said Clinton's campaign first started the birther conspiracy theory when she was contesting against Obama.

“She failed to get the birth certificate,” he said. “When I got involved, I didn’t fail.” while Mrs. Clinton said “He's really started his political activity based on this racist lie that our first black president was not an American citizen”

Pressed on his refusal to release his tax returns, Mr. Trump said; “I'll release my tax returns, against my lawyers’ wishes, if Mrs. Clinton agreed to release her 33,000 deleted emails.

Mr. Trump defended his plans to lower taxes on the wealthy unlike Clinton who wanted to increase taxes on the wealthy Mrs. Clinton then joked, “I have a feeling that by the end of this evening, I’m going to be blamed for everything that’s ever happened.” Mr. Trump replied, “Why not?”

Trump then blasted Clinton saying he's been travelling all round America suggesting Clinton stayed at home preparing for the speech.
“You’ve seen me, I’ve been all over the place,” he said. “You decided to stay home and that’s okay.''
Clinton replied 'I prepared for the debate, and i'm preparing to be president, too.'

Clinton also wondered if Trump was hiding secrets by not releasing his tax returns and also defended her deleted emails.

“I made a mistake using a private email,” she said. Mr. Trump cut in, “That’s for sure.” Mrs. Clinton added, “I’m not going to make any excuses. It was a mistake.”

Mrs. Clinton, looking toward Mr. Trump, said it was “good to be with” him on the same stage at last. “You have to judge us,” she said, in a response to a question about job creation. “Who can shoulder the immense, awesome responsibilities of the presidency?” Mr. Trump replied that “our jobs are fleeing the country.”

Senate to Abuja residents: Slaughter any straying cow found in Abuja City

Chairman of the Senate Committee on FCT, Dino Melaye, yesterday asked residents of the FCT to, henceforth, slaughter straying cows found in the city. He said this when the Minister of the FCT, Mohammed Bello, appeared before the committee ‎yesterday September 26th.

Melaye who gave the order in a speech read at the session, said it was very disappointing, annoying and embarrassing that inspire of the ban placed on cattle grazing in FCT by FCTA authority, some stubborn herdsmen still go about the city grazing their cows. He ordered the FCT Minister to go beyond the ban by facilitating the slaughtering order issued by the senate committee.

"The Senate is not happy at how herdsmen continue to move their cows across the city centre, which we are aware you had given directive against some time ago. From now on, get knives and ask your men to slaughter cows found in the capital city or prosecute herdsmen seen with cows in the city centre with a fine of N50,000 per cow. This order must be carried out.”
