'Breaking Up With Nicki Was A Loss' - Meek Mill Admits He Was Left Heartbroken After Their Split

Six months after Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj ended their relationship, it appears that the Philadelphia rapper is still mourning the bitter split.

Opening up in an honest interview, the 30-year-old rapper admitted to Philadelphia Power 99 Philly radio station, that breaking up with Nicki was 'a loss' to him.

Speaking about his new album, aptly titled 'Wins and Losses', the rapper admitted that getting the female rapper had been a life-long goal.

'It was a win. I got Nicki when I was… like I came up. I always wanted Nicki my whole life. I used to talk…remember I had the rap about it. I bagged that. So that was a win of course', he admitted.

And when asked how he felt following their split, he revealed honestly: 'Of course breaking up with anyone you love is a loss. Period. Game time. Want me to make up a lie or something? It's so easy to tell the truth now,'

In January, Nicki confirmed their break-up, when she took to Twitter writing: 'To confirm, yes I am single.'

The pair did a song 'All eyes on you' with Chris Brown before they went their separate ways.

I Hope Common Sense And Common Decency Will Finally Prevail - APC Chairman Speaks On Fayose's Comments On Buhari's Health

Last night, APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun spoke to journalists after a meeting at the party's secretariat.

Oyegun was asked to comment on allegations made by Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose on President Buhari's health and he said, 'Believe me, I hate to comment on anything the Governor of Ekiti State says because when people have taken leave of common decency, our basic cultural upbringing. When people cease to have respect for elders and cease to have respect for the fact that an elder statesman who is also President of this nation is going through a health challenge and seek to make fun of it, and seek to say things that are so totally unbecoming, it is really not worth commenting on. But I am glad that as at yesterday (Wednesday) even Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors went there and thank God nice sober people, they were very excited at the pace of recovery of Mr. President. I hope that finally, even for the most hardened of political adversaries that common sense and common decency will finally prevail'.

When asked about the president's current state of health, Oyegun said, 'I can confirm that Mr. President is convalescing very strongly. Right now, all he is doing is having as much rest as he can to build up his energy, to build up his stamina. But the worst is certainly over. Mr. President is going to come back and he is going to face the responsibilities for which the people of this country have elected him. I am glad to say he is recovering beautifully'.

French President Bans Politicians From Hiring Family Members To Hold Public Office

France has banned politicians from hiring or employing their spouses or children as parliamentary assistants under rules adopted in response to a scandal involving former Prime Minister, Francois Fillon and his wife.

The new law approved by President Emmanuel Macron will apply to ministers and members of parliament, ending what is a widespread family business.

The essential clauses of the legislation were voted through by members of the National Assembly in votes Wednesday night and on Thursday.

In France, roughly one in six members of parliament has a family member earning salary as an assistant.
