Armoured Helicopters: Governor Wike reveals that RSG wrote to FG to hand them over to NAF

In a statement signed by Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor, Electronic Media, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has revealed that he officially wrote to President Muhammadu Buhari asking that the two armoured helicopters bought by the immediate past administration in the state .be handed over to the Nigerian Air Force.

He explained that he wrote the letter following the high custom duty charged for the helicopters and the refusal of the present administration to grant the Rivers State Government the waiver to clear the two armoured helicopters.

A statement issued by Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media informed that the governor spoke during an interview with editors of Sun Newspapers Titles on Saturday in Port Harcourt.

The governor said that it was unfortunate that Security Agencies would resort to political propaganda and outright lies, when the facts of the two armoured helicopters are public knowledge.
He said:

"These helicopters were imported by the immediate past administration. When I assumed office,we wrote to the Federal government that it was strictly for security use. What am I going to use armoured helicopters for?

"In any case, where will the Rivers State Government get money at this time to import armoured helicopters. The previous administration imported it because they had the money. "I went to to the Federal Government to give me a waiver for us to clear the helicopters, but the Federal Government refused. "I wrote a letter to the President and to assure him that the helicopters are meant for security purposes, it should be handed over to the Nigerian Air Force ".

The governor added: "I am surprised that they have started propaganda and political falsehood on the said armoured helicopters. What kind of country are they turning Nigeria into?

"We stated that we cannot pay the custom duties because the helicopters are not for commercial use. They are to be used to monitor the creeks and track criminals.

"I wrote to the President to give the helicopters to the Airforce. It is shocking that the custom would turn around to claim that they inpounded the helicopters. The Chief of Staff to the President admitted that I have done well when I wrote the letter to the President ".

It will be recalled that the immediate past Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi in December 2012 announced the payment of two helicopters for security surveillance.

The founder and president of the Omega Fire Ministries worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has distanced himself and his ministry from a news report linking him with plan by a certain Benin City, Edo State based law firm to sue the Department of the State Security (DSS).

The DSS had attempted to arrest Apostle Suleman in Ekiti State last week for alleged inciting statements' but the attempt was resisted by the state governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose. He is scheduled to appear at the DSS headquarters in Abuja on Monday, 30th January 2017 for clarification.

According to a statement issued this morning by Barrister Samuel Amune, coordinator, OFM legal team, the servant of God was shocked to read a publication in The Guardian newspaper to the effect that Apostle Johnson Suleman has given approval to a law firm based in Benin City to sue the DSS because neither him nor the ministry had a hand in the purported planned suit.

"We use this opportunity to inform the general public, in particular lovers of Apostle Johnson Suleman, that he did not give such approval neither did he give any authority to any person, group of persons or any law firm to sue the DSS. Those who claimed to have such authority are on a self voyage and they are strongly advised to terminate such move as you cannot cut a man's hair in his absence."

Must read! Two Nigerian women who had children with same man hang out together in the UK

Two Nigerian women, Olubunmi Ajai Layode and Mo Abatan, both resident in the United Kingdom, have proven that women don't have to be rivals just because they had been with same man, especially if the man in question turned out to be irresponsible. Yesterday, the women and the children they had with their ex, Dafe, went out together. Read the post published by Bunmi on her Facebook page:

"Mo Abatan and I hung out yesterday with our kids who happen to be siblings. I met Seyifunmi when she was around 5 or so... and even then, her dad was not taking his responsibilities up with her. Every birthday card or gift was by me. Every visit to her was at my insistence.
Mo and I remained friends and talk on the phone from time to time. She is a good person and an amazing friend. Even after I left Dafe, we still kept in touch. We determined that the two siblings would not turn out irresponsible like their Dad. Seyifunmi and Tobi met maybe once on one of the rare occasions that their father agreed to have them spend holidays with him.

Dupe and I have been planning that the kids should hang out more and yesterday, we made it happen.
But this is the thing - even though there is very little physical resemblance, (Seyifunmi is Dafe's spitting image and Tobi is Jopa's spitting image), their bahaviours are very similar! Both are very body conscious. They watch what they eat and are very slim and both have very quick comebacks to anything you say to them. Lol. The body image, maybe they get it from Dafe who is quite vain but the intelligence to be able to come up with quick comebacks is defo not from him.

People can't understand how and why Mo and I can be good friends. They say we are rivals. I say we are not. He was not dating us at the same time. The Bisola he dated at the same time with me sef, I also became friends with her. I think Dafe knows how to choose good women. Women don't have to be wounding each other over men"

Paula Patton gives more graphic details on how Robin Thicke cheated on her & how he beat her

It was summarized by People Magazine. Read below...

Throughout Patton’s declaration, the actress details episodes of infidelity, including a romantic Valentine’s Day getaway in 2013 at Chateau Marmont. Per the documents, after they “made love,” Patton fell asleep and “later learned that after I had fallen asleep, Robin had attempted to have sex with some girl in the second bedroom …
When I confronted Robin about this, he admitted to attempting to have sex with the stranger, but stated that he ended up being unable to do so because of the amount of cocaine that he used that evening had caused him to be unable to perform … Julian was in another room with our nanny at the time.”
That same year, Thicke’s T..I and Pharrell collaboration “Blurred Lines” became the biggest hit of his career, and he hit the road to promote his album.
According to the court filing, “When Robin returned from the tour, he came home and told me that he had unprotected sex with seven other women. He then informed me that [a tabloid] had found out about this and that they were going to expose him. In exchange for better treatment, Robin offered them an exclusive interview. He wanted me to hear about the unprotected sex from him as opposed to reading it in the tabloids. I immediately had myself tested for sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS given his representation that his having sex with other women was unprotected.”
Later that year, after the MTV VMAs, Patton alleges in her declaration: “After the taping of the awards show, I went to our room only to find Robin in bed with two naked women. I left the hotel, wandered the streets of New York and called my brother crying.”
Patton says she suffered repeated domestic abuse.
Patton’s declaration is full of allegations that Thicke physically and verbally abused her, including around their son’s third birthday birthday in April 2013, Patton’s declaration alleges that, while Thicke was receiving a massage at their home, she “observed him to have inappropriate contact with the masseuse. I told Robin that I was upset, and that his conduct was not cool. I left the room and went to another bedroom and locked the door … Robin became so enraged that I had interrupted his ‘massage’ that he broke down the locked door.” Shortly after, she alleges, “Robin became physically violent with me. He pushed me down and kicked me.”
Three months later, in 2013 at the Cannes Film Festival, Patton alleges in her declaration that “we began fighting. Robin hit me with a closed fist to my upper body and then pushed me onto the ground. I left the room and walked the streets of Cannes. I called Robin’s father and his best friend, Craig, to see if they could offer any of of intervention and/or salvaging the relationship.”
The court documents also detail an alleged incident in February of 2014, when, “I was in Vancouver filming a movie entitled Warcraft. Robin and Julian came to stay with me for the weekend. Robin told me that as part of my Valentine’s gift, he was going to wake up with Julian that day (which was an extraordinarily unusual action for him to take), so that I could sleep in. When Julian woke up that morning, the nanny brought him into our room. I asked him whether he was going to get up and watch our son, and Robin lost control. In front of our nanny and in front of Julian, he jumped out of bed naked, screaming. Julian was upset and frightened by this unexpected rage (as was I).”

Iran to ban U.S. citizens in retaliation to Trump's Muslim ban

Iran Foreign Ministry on Saturday, January 28, 2017, announced that U.S. citizens will be blocked from entering the country in retaliation to Donald Trump’s ban on travellers from seven majority-Muslim countries coming to the US.

'While respecting the American people and distinguishing between them and the hostile policies of the U.S. government, Iran will implement the principle of reciprocity until the offensive U.S. limitations against Iranian nationals are lifted.
'The restrictions against travel by Muslims to America are an open affront against the Muslim world and the Iranian nation in particular and will be known as a great gift to extremists.'It comes after President Donald Trump on Friday signed an executive order to suspend visas for citizens of Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

However, a Federal Judge in New York granted an emergency stay on Saturday night for citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries who have already arrived in the US and those who are in transit, and who hold valid visas, ruling they cannot be removed from the US.
