RichHommie D’s new video for his song ‘Heaven On Earth’, released last year lives up to it’s title.
Capturing both scenes of the hustle seen in the daily life of a man through the streets and a joyous celebration, the two frames of life are projected. The simplicity and easy to follow storyline of the video makes it one to like.

''Dapchi abduction, Rann attack will never happen again'' President Buhari vows

President Buhari has vowed that the abduction of schoolgirls and the kind of attack on Rann in which humanitarian workers were killed by suspected Boko Haram insurgents would not be allowed to happen again.

President Buhari made the pledge at the eighth edition of the National Security Seminar 2018 organised by the Alumni Association of the NDC in collaboration with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) and the NDC yesterday March 6th.

President Buhari said the persistent attacks of the terrorists on soft targets, such as the kidnap of the girls and the incident at Rann were to create the impression that the terrorists were still very much around. He insisted that compared to when he came into office in 2015, the insurgents had been effectively degraded. Represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, President Buhari said

“Boko Haram, as we all know, rejects authority and strives to take over territory, to establish a caliphate in line with ISIS objectives. Between 2012 and 2015, they seemed to be well on their way to achieve their objectives by annexing some territory of Nigeria. As of March 2015, Boko Haram controlled about 20,000square kilometres of Nigeria, that is about the size of Belgium, from the eastern border of Cameroun to parts of Lake Chad. In Borno State, 20 out of 27 local government areas were under Boko Haram control, including Mubi in Adamawa and some villages. In addition to this, their footprints were registered in Abuja, Kaduna, Kano with the bombings of the UN building and Police HQ in Abuja .That was the state of affairs as of early 2015. Today, BH does not occupy any local government area in Nigeria. And they no longer have the capacity to hold a territory. and challenge the sovereignty of the state. Gone are the days they operated outside the precints of the northeast, leaving behind carnage and bloodshed. They are now operating as desperate criminal gang mostly in relics or groups taking over some communities, using children as suicide bombers, kidnapping innocent girls and children.”he said

Also speaking at the event, Minister of Defence Mansir Dan Ali said the efforts of the military to rescue the Dapchi girls and the Chibok girls would take the centre stage. He said a satellite communications system and other technological method have been deployed to rescue the girls. The minister was represented by Dr. Hassan Abdullahi a director in the ministry.

Dan-Ali said Boko Haram was taking advantage of technology, especially the social media platforms to create panic, terror and confusion in the society. He urged the Armed Forces to move ahead of them by doing away with analogue technology and embrace digital technology.

He also lamented that Nigeria’s reliance on foreign defence products was unhelpful in the fight against terror and other criminal activities, regretting that the cyber space is being dominated by criminals.

Trump's chief Economic Adviser Gary Cohn quits the White House over tariffs

Donald Trump's chief economic advisor Gary Cohn is the latest Trump adviser to leave the administration. He is departing the White House after losing an internal clash over looming steel tariffs.

The news of his departure came just hours after Trump said he would impose "loving, loving" tariffs to protect U.S. industry, and issued a new threat against European cars.

Trump told the New York Times in a statement: "Gary has been my chief economic adviser and did a superb job in driving our agenda, helping to deliver historic tax cuts and reforms and unleashing the American economy once again.

"He is a rare talent, and I thank him for his dedicated service to the American people."

Cohn, 57, is expected to leave within weeks. News of his departure comes just days after communications director Hope Hicks decided to go. On the same day his departure was announced, Trump tweeted about "chaos" and churn on the staff, and defended the White House as a place where everyone wants to work.

Trump said: "Everyone wants to work in the White House. They all want a piece of the Oval Office."

"The new Fake News narrative is that there is CHAOS in the White House. Wrong!" Trump tweeted Tuesday morning. "People will always come & go, and I want strong dialogue before making a final decision."

He added: "I still have some people that I want to change (always seeking perfection). There is no Chaos, only great Energy!"

On Tuesday he added in an optimistic tweet that he would be "making a decision soon on the appointment of new Chief Economic Advisor. Many people wanting the job – will choose wisely!"

Cohn nearly quit over Trump's equivocating remarks on Charlottesville. The groundwork for Cohn's departure came last week when Trump surprised his own aides by announcing his proposed 25 per cent steel tariff on live television during a meeting. Cohn clashed with Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross over the tariffs, and did not prevail. The topic had been the subject of a fierce internal battle that had not been finalized, DailyMail reports.

The Trump administration is also considering tariffs to punish China for intellectual property abuses, Bloomberg reported. The move could provoke retaliation from China. The tariffs would hit various products as well as Chinese investment in the U.S., according to the report.

Trump defended the churn of his staff as beneficial in a press availability with the Swedish prime minister, where he also pounded the EU for its trade policies, amid fears a trade war could break
