'Donald Trump's administration, alongside China, Russia, terrorism and radical Islam is a threat to us' - European Union

The president of the European Union, Donald Tusk, has classified Donald Trump's new administration as a threat to the European Union alongside Vladmir Putin's Russia, China, Terrorism and radical Islam.



In a letter sent to European leaders on Tuesday, Tusk wrote that factors such as Trump's ban on immigration, increased friendliness with Vladmir Putin, publicly blasting NATO and “worrying declarations by the new American administration all make our future highly unpredictable.”



U.S President Trump has at one point called NATO "obsolete," dismissed the 28-member EU as a "vehicle for Germany" and publicly said he's had "a very bad experience" with the EU as a businessman.


Tusk wondered whether the United States would maintain its commitment to European security under Mr. Trump’s leadership.


“For the first time in our history, in an increasingly multipolar external world, so many are becoming openly anti-European, or Eurosceptic at best,” Mr. Tusk wrote. The letter was released ahead of an E.U summit meeting in Malta on Friday; and Tusk is responsible for setting the agenda for the meetings.


“Particularly the change in Washington puts the European Union in a difficult situation; with the new administration seeming to put into question the last 70 years of American foreign policy,” he wrote.


“An increasingly, let us call it, assertive China, especially on the seas,” he wrote, “Russia’s aggressive policy toward Ukraine and its neighbors, wars, terror and anarchy in the Middle East and in Africa, with radical Islam playing a major role, as well as worrying declarations by the new American administration all make our future highly unpredictable.”


"We cannot surrender to those who want to weaken or invalidate the Transatlantic bond, without which global order and peace cannot survive. We should remind our American friends of their own motto: United we stand, divided we fall."


Guntram B. Wolff, director of Bruegel, a research organization in Brussels said the E.U shouldn't enter into a war of words with the Trump administration.

“We need to uphold our values here, but does it mean that we need now a declaration where we put the United States on the same level as ISIS?”
“No, I don’t think so. I don’t think it that would be helpful in any way.”

TMZ confirmed that Kim Kardashian was New York City today to speak with the judge in the Paris robbery case. She's said have given a blow-by-blow account of what happened when she was bound, gagged and stripped of her jewelry.


Kim arrived the NYC court with her two kids, without Kanye West and she was in a room with judge and attorneys in the Paris robbery case identifying the men who broke into her Paris apartment last October.

Turkish school kidnap suspects confess to killing presenter Aisha Ali-Balogun and kidnapping her daughter with 6 others

No fewer than eight suspects have been apprehended by police with regards to the Turkish school kidnap and following investigations, it has been discovered that the kidnap suspects are the same people who killed presenter Aisha Alli-Balogun in December 2016 and kidnapped her 2-year-old daughter together with six others.


Vanguard reported that a reliable police source revealed that the suspects confessed to the crime committed late last year on Ikorodu road which claimed the life of Aisha, presenter of a popular comedy show, Stand Up Nigeria.

Among the suspects recently apprehended is a nurse, Felicia Weinoh, whose area of speciality is treating ailing victims and members of the kidnapping gang. Alex Super (aka Yanga) and Egbasimokumo Ayeomi were also recently arrested as they were leaving the Ikorodu creeks from Majidun, carrying bags. N3 million was found in the bags and the men confessed to their crimes. They said they each got N2 million from the ransom paid.

Other suspects who have been arrested in relation to the kidnap are Philip Joel (aka General Kakadu), Bekewei Agbojule (aka Prince Yellow), Arogbo Ijaw, Romeo Council (aka Raw) and Totki Okoda.

Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, says that the Edo state government house is not a bank where people can walk in to collect money. Obaseki said this when he received a delegation of APC Edo state women members at the state house in Benin city yesterday.

He said he is in office to work for the people and fulfill the purpose God brought him into office for.



"Government house is not where you come to make money, but where you come to serve. According to him, I don’t have money to give anybody. The money I have is to work for the people. I can create money going by my experience as an investment banker. I can organise things and people must be ready to work. We should prioritise and cut waste because our biggest problem is waste. ‘God chose me for a purpose to change things at this time and politics of money and sharing is not possible’’he said

Iranian-American man affected by the refugee ban cries in heartbreaking video as he talks about the ban

This video will break your heart to see a grown man cry in front of the camera. Hossein Khoshbakhty is a contractor who lives and works in America and has been a US citizen for almost 20 years.

Now he cannot go home to his family because he is among those detained at airports in the United States. The heartbroken man said he could not understand why he has to run from the sufferings in Iran only to come and face the same in a country which should offer refuge.


He revealed that he has never committed any crime, neither has any of his family members, instead, all he's done is build for the American people.

"Why I have to be punished for somebody else' problem?" He asked. At some point in the video, he is unable to speak because he starts crying and needs to compose himself again. Watch the sad video below.

Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, described Zahra Buhari's December wedding to Ahmed Indimi, at the presidential villa, as a very modest on. In a recent radio interview, Femi who was the Master of Ceremony at Zahra's wedding luncheon, said pictures from the wedding are deceptive as the wedding was not extravagant.




"Yes you saw pictures but pictures can be deceptive, pictures will not give you the exact impression, it doesn't communicate the exact thing that happened. I was at that wedding. I was the master of ceremony at the wedding launch. Despite the fact that it was the president's daughter's wedding, I will say it was modest"he said

The presidential media aide said he doesn't know if Zahra got any cars as a wedding gift because he didn't see one. He added that if at all any flamboyance was exhibited at the wedding, it must have been from the family of Zahra's husband, the Indimi's who are very wealthy.

Harrysong and manager re-arrested, spends the night in police custody on fresh charges

Fresh reports reaching LIB this morning says the battle between Harrysong and his estranged label, Five Star Music is now a full blown war.

An eye witness who was present at the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos (the same station Skales slept overnight back in June 2016 when he had issues with his label, Baseline) yesterday tells us Harrysong was re-arrested alongside his manager, Desmond Ike on fresh criminal charges.



LIB also gathered that Harrysong and his manager spent the night in police custody and may be charged to court this morning.

'They were re arrested on fresh criminal charges of fraud, forgery and impersonation. I heard them saying they forged E-Money's signature to collect money from a brand' the source said.
LIB however reached out to Five Star for comments but they declined. We've also tried to reach Harrysong, his number has been switched off since last night while his manager, Desmond didn't pick up calls.

Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Command has died...

The Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Command Francis Mobolaji Odesanya has passed away.

The CP reportedly died today in a hospital in either India or Dubai where he went for treatment for kidney failure according to police sources.

The commissioner of police was transferred to Rivers state in August 2016 to take over from Foluso Adebanjo who is currently a Deputy Inspector General of Police. May his soul rest in peace, amen.
