I personally took to Efe of BBN because he reminds me of me. My journey from Warri to Lagos was laced with an action plan that I couldn't wait to happen. I was desperately passionate about making my own future, creating my own hope and my ultimate believe in God to help me through it all was completely undaunted. My talent till date cannot pass for a 100%, but like my young warri brother Efe, I knew where I was coming from and I also had a complete understanding of the fact that my success story would come through hard work, perseverance, and sacrifice. Above all GRACE found my location without using Google map. Efe may not have been the brightest of them all, the same way I cannot even vote myself as the funniest comedian in Nigeria, but experiencing GRACE under the influence of hardwork, sacrifice and struggle will always make you stand out. All you need to do is take that bold step and start your journey today. NB If you want to experience how GRACE works... come to AY Live on Easter Sunday ( No be Jazz)" .

Trump plans to move ahead with aircraft sale to Nigeria

US President Donald Trump’s administration is reportedly moving forward with plans to sell up to a dozen aircraft to Nigeria’s air force for the fight against the extremist group, Boko Haram. According to The Globe and Mail, Canada, sources informed the paper on Monday, that the Trump administration will go ahead with the deal that could be worth up to $600 million.
The Super Tucano A-29 aircraft, an agile, propeller-driven plane with reconnaissance and surveillance as well as attack capabilities, is made by Brazil’s Embraer. A second production line is in Florida, in a partnership between Embraer and privately held Sierra Nevada Corp of Sparks, Nevada.

Former President Barack Obama’s administration originally agreed on the sale, but reportedly delayed it after the Nigerian Air Force’s bombing of a refugee camp in January which killed 90 to 170 civilians.

The Trump administration wants to supply the aircraft to boost Nigeria’s efforts to fight Boko Haram and bolster hiring in the United States by defense firms.

“We’ve been told that the administration is going to go forward with that transaction,” a congressional aide said.Formal notification of the deal has not yet been sent to Congress but will be done soon.

Trump has said he plans to go ahead with foreign defense sales delayed under Obama due to human rights concerns.

A senior Nigerian military source in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, confirmed that the sale would go ahead and said it would also involve training, surveillance and military intelligence “to support ... the ongoing insurgency war.”

In March, the Trump administration informed Congress of its plans to pursue a $5 billion sale to Bahrain of Lockheed Martin F-16s and related equipment, which had been held up under Obama when Bahrain failed to meet human rights targets.

Reuters first reported the Obama administration’s plan to sell the Embraer aircraft to Nigeria in May 2016, as a vote of confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari’s drive to reform the military. The Super Tucano costs more than $10 million each and the price can go much higher depending on the configuration. It is powered by a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT 6 engine. Trump’s plan to move ahead with the Nigerian sale was first reported on Monday by the Associated Press.

There are also questions in the US congress whether Nigeria will be able to pay the full $600 million for the aircraft, equipment, training and support. U.S. officials said Buhari raised frustration with delays in the sale in a phone call with Trump in February.
