Kogi 2019: SDP Governorship candidate, Natasha Akpoti says Yahaya Bello ordered her assassination

The Social Democratic Party, SDP, governorship candidate in Kogi State, Natasha Akpoti, has alleged that Yahaya Bello ordered her assassination.

She made this statement via her official twitter page saying “Gov Yahaya Bello has ordered for my assassination.”

Recall that Akpoti on Sunday called for the cancellation of the ongoing gubernatorial election in Kogi Central and part of Lokoja, the state capital. Akpoti said that “what happened in Kogi Central and other parts of the state was a far cry from a credible election,” hence the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, should cancel the elections and conduct a rerun.

She made the call in a statement she personally signed and issued on Sunday. According to Akpoti: “Ballot boxes were destroyed and burnt in Okene, Adavi, Ajaokuta and Ogori Magongo and Okehi Local government areas and other parts of the state.” She added that her party’s official agents were tied and intimidated.

An advertisement for a strip club is an advertisement for sex trafficking - Kanye West says (Video)

Kanye West has claimed all advertisements for strip clubs are actually promoting sex trafficking.

Speaking at Joel Osteen's church on Sunday, the American rapper and father of four viewed strip clubs as a form of sex trafficking.

“They got posters advertising sex trafficking because if there’s an advertisement for a strip club, that is advertising sex trafficking,” Ye explained around the . “At the end of the night, when they close up, the manager says, ‘How much traffic do we have?’” he asked.

He continued, “So if it’s a man that’s going through things with his family or going through things at work and he feels he has to go there, we all end up participating—or whether it’s the spirits that get advertised to us all the time. Alcohol, they call it a spirit.

“So we get constant advertisement for spirits, we get constant advertisement for strip clubs and other things like that, but then we bring up the name of Jesus, we’re told to be quiet,” he added, referencing his gospel album Jesus Is King. “So even for someone who’s professing God…the devil is going to come and do everything he can to distract people from knowing how to fully be in service to the lord.”
