Mel B 'calls Victoria Beckham a 'bit of a b***h' amid Spice Girls reunion

It has been revealed English singer and Spice Girls star, Mel B dropped another bombshell during her candid interview with Piers Morgan, where she revealed had sex with her former bandmate Geri Halliwell.

The 43-year-old reportedly called Victoria Beckham, who was also her former bandmate a 'b***h' because she turned down their offer to join the reunion tour.

The Sun claimed that when Piers asked Mel directly about her opinion of Victoria she replied: 'Bit of a b***h'.

However, she is also believed to have added: 'I am sad she is not going to be there [on tour]. But she is busy with what she is doing with her fashion line and her family.

'But I am gutted that she is not going to be with us. But I am still going to hold that candle and hope that she will.'

Insiders told the publication that Mel's comment will anger Victoria, who has reportedly made it clear she doesn't want to go on tour.

Photos: Community rally behind Ethiopian woman disfigured, blinded by acid attack by her abusive husband after she asked for a divorce

Doctors, teachers, and complete strangers from across the Bay Area, California,U.S, are rallying behind Atsade Nigese from Ethiopia, who survived a brutal act of domestic violence when her husband poured acid all over her face and body.

Speaking through her friend who served as an interpreter, Nigese says her husband, who was a federal police officer in Ethiopia, regularly beat her and broke her teeth.
But one night, a year ago, after she told him she wanted a divorce, she said he threw acid on her.

Nigese is now blind with scarred skin. Her body is disfigured and even her own son initially rejected her, saying he knew her by her voice but could not identify anything else about her.

Menbere Aklilu of Richmond said she wanted to help. Two years ago, she helped another Ethiopian woman, who had also been burned by acid, something she said her ex-fiance had thrown on her.

Because of that experience Akilu, who also survived an abusive relationship, knew how to get Nigese a visa. And she flew to Ethiopia to retrieve Nigese and invited her to live with her and get some medical help. Akilu said she’d love it if Nigese could one day see again.

“I want her to get her vision, that’s my dream,” Aklilu said.

For nearly seven months, Nigese has been living with Aklilu. The two women, both from Ethiopia, share another special bond, one they don’t wish on anyone else. Both have survived domestic abuse.

“I see myself through her,” Akilu said. “I’m lucky I run from him. So today I have the ability to help others.”

In her short time living in the Bay Area, Nigese is slowly learning to become independent once again. She’s learned to get around using a cane. Three hours a day, five days a week, Nigese learns Braille and English, with volunteers at her side.

On top of that, doctors from the University of California at San Francisco are donating their time and talents to reconstruct her ears, eyelids nose and mouth.

Nigerian lady cheats death after her car somersaulted twice and fell into a roadside ditch

A Nigerian Mabel Agbenyo who is thankful to God for being alive, has taken to Facebook to narrate how she survived an accident in which her car somersaulted twice and fell into a roadside ditch. Read her post below:

"Last night was bad and could have been my last as my car somersaulted twice and when it landed it was on my side and I felt myself and the car sliding into the ditch. The driver in front of me was signaling to the left so I moved to the right, in less than 3 seconds he swerved to the right and I tried to avoid him but it was too close so I tapped my brake and the next thing I know I had somersaulted and bounced off the road.
I said a quiet prayer to God saying saying “if I don’t make it out here lord help me make heaven amen” then I raised my hand to protect my face as the car slid to the ditch. I was pulled out from the window by some men and I’m grateful for that because kanipe the fuel which was full tank started leaking shebi na roasting things. on our way to the hospital I had to take off my top to tie the wrist before my precious blood finish pouring
Good Samaritans pulled me out from the passenger side and brought me out, someone brought out my bag and made me sit on the ground as the blood poured. My wrist was chopped open and the blood was flowing, the young man whose car my car hit ran to me and was screaming that I must pay for his repairs. His wife was screaming at me saying I must pay and the man snatch my phone insisting I pay before they take me to the hospital. Helpers were willing to fight him off and I told them to let him get my number and by 11pm I paid 60k for his car.
I had paid 47k few hours before the accident for the repairs of my car and the mechanic didn’t do a good job, my car got really bad but it’s something that can be fixed so all is well. I’m grateful to God for his mercy and preservation and no life was lost. Glory to God.
There is a reason God kept me and I might never know it, all the revelations pointed to my death but God kept me even in my unfaithfulness he has remained faithful. I am fine and I am healthy, give glory to God in my behalf for he has won again!!!

Mabel also shared a screenshot of the chat she had with a friend who told her to be careful few days before the accident. Read below.

Women protest by wearing leggings after a mother with 4 sons begged them to stop wearing leggings (photos)

There's been an outrage and people are protesting after a Catholic mother with 4 sons wrote a letter asking women to stop wearing leggings for the sake of their sons.

The mother, who was identified as Maryann White, penned the letter titled, "The legging problem," which was published in The Observer, Notre Dame’s student newspaper (read here).

She told women to stop wearing leggings because leggings are "so naked, so form fitting, so exposing." She asked them to think of "their sons".

But a lot of people didn't appreciate her letter. It had just the opposite effect on students at the Indiana campus.

Conrad Palor, a sophomore at the university, penned a response to White’s letter that was published in The Observer. He titled it, The legging problem: A response.

He wrote: "While White’s comments were likely intended to be innocuous, they contribute to and further the narrative that women need to dress in order to not distract their male peers, which only furthers the sexualization and subsequent subjugation of women’s bodies."

A fellow Notre Dame mother, Heather Piccone, penned a letter to The Observer, pointing out that "if nakedness is wrong, then this woman’s sons better have been fully clothed at the beach at all times."

"They better never have played a game of “shirts versus skins” pick-up basketball or football in the park," she wrote.

To protest the letter, a Leggings Pride Day parade was organized by Irish 4 Reproductive Health, a campus nonprofit group. The group called on people to take part and post pictures of themselves wearing their favorite pair of leggings.

Many students posted pictures of their favorite leggings with the hashtag #LeggingsDayND.

"We wanted … to remind people that leggings are absolutely OK and you’re allowed to dress your body in whatever way you see fit," Anne Jarrett, 21, a student at Notre Dame, who helped organize the demonstration.

Other women protested by taking to various social media platforms to share photos of themselves wearing leggings.

Anne-Marie tweeted with photos of herself in Nike leggings: "a Catholic mom published an opinion in ND’s newspaper that leggings Lead Men Into Sin so we’re protesting our right to not be responsible for men and to not be constantly policed by morals or femininity #LeggingsDayND"

Men also took part in the protest by donning leggings.

A male Instagram user wrote: "let’s all try a bit harder to not shame people for what they choose to wear. Fashion is a multi-party activity. Sometimes it’s the observing party who needs a reality check. With love, from China."
