BBNaija's Cocoice talks marriage, life outside the House and the breast-sucking moment

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and rapper, Mojisola Serah Sowole, popularly known as Cocoice, spoke with Segun Adebayo of Nigerian Tribune on some of the low and high moments of her stay in the house, marriage plans and of course, the boob-sucking moment that got many people talking.
"Honestly, it was not a dare game, as many people assumed. In truth, I was just having fun. I didn't do it to get votes. It was never about the votes"On how her parents reacted to the incident, she said:

"A Yoruba adage says “ti aba fi owo otun ba omo wi, afi ti osi fa mora”, which means when you scold a child with your right hand, you embrace him with the left. As far as I know, that was exactly what they did. We have all moved on from that moment. The truth is that being one of the 14 housemates chosen for the show already makes me feel like a winner, so I have no regrets. I feel proud of every moment I had in the house. No regrets at all."

Has it cost you any lucrative deal since you came back?
As I said earlier, I have been enjoying my time since I came out of the house and to tell you the truth, I have been getting offers since I left the BBNaija house. So I wouldn’t know of any lucrative deal that it has cost me.
If you were to date any of the guys in the house for real, who would that person be?
Bally is cool, calm and collected. He’s a sort of my kind of guy.

How happy are you to be back with your people back home?
I feel very happy to be home. You can’t compare the feeling to anything. I have really missed my family and friends. My world has really turned around towards greatness. When the people around me are happy, I am happy.

Many people would want to know what next project Cocoice is working on?
I’m currently working on my music and video single entitled Feeling my P and collaborations with other talented Nigerian artistes.

What’s the name Cocoice about? Where did you get it from?
‘Coco’ stands for coconut, rough on the outside which describes my past and pure on the inside. ‘Ice’ which stands for breaking the ice (breakthrough).

You must have had a relationship before your stint in the house. How difficult has it been coming back to all that?
I was single before I went into the BBNaija house. There is no point coming back into any relationship.
Is marriage on the card for you anytime soon?
I am still waiting for Mr Right

Speak with me to prove you are healthy- Fayose tells President Buhari

Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, has asked President Buhari to speak with him to prove that he is indeed healthy. President Buhari who has been in the UK for over a month now, has been speaking on the phone to some APC governors, Foreign presidents as well as some of his media aides. In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary media aide, Idowu Adelusi, Fayose gave out a phone number he could be reached at.


”I advised the President to speak with me for the purpose of convincing Nigerians that he is hale and hearty instead of looking for people outside the country to convince Nigerians. If their problem is that they are looking for a credible person who can help them convince Nigerians that all is well with our President, Ayo Fayose is their best bet. Let the president speak with me. If I tell Nigerians that the president spoke with me, Nigerians will believe. Since they are eager for the president to speak to people; believing in this way to convince Nigerians that their President is hale and hearty, let President Buhari talk to me.

Then they said he spoke to the king of Morocco; again, Nigerians were suspicious. Before we recovered from that, it is now the AU president that they said President Buhari spoke to. A president that can speak with outsiders should be able to whisper or wave to his own people.
The people gave him the very important platform of President on which he stands today and, therefore, Presidential aides should stop giving the unhelpful impression that Buhari has no respect for the Nigerian electorate".

A Russian lawmaker wants the government to ban "Beauty and the Beast" over gay "propaganda

A Russian lawmaker wants the country's government to ban Disney's new "Beauty and the Beast" remake after labeling it "a blatant, shameless propaganda of sin and perverted sexual relationships."


The complaint was detailed in a letter sent by Vitaly Milonov to the Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky and reported by state-run news agency Ria Novsti.

It says the movie should not be shown in Russia if the ministry found "elements of propaganda of homosexuality." The Ministry of Culture has not yet issued a ruling on the film, which stars Emma Watson and is scheduled to open in Russia March 16.


The movie is rated PG and is a live-action remake of the 1991 animated hit. Its director, Bill Condon, has said the character of LeFou, fawning sidekick to the villainous Gaston, has an "exclusively gay moment" in the film.


Russia's government passed a legislation in 2013 prohibiting the spreading of "gay propaganda" among minors. The law, which described homosexuality as "non-traditional sexual relations," bars the public discussion of gay rights and relationships anywhere children might hear it.

Former Minister of State for Information, Ibrahim Dasuki Nakande, says information reaching him suggests that President Buhari may return to Nigeria today. Buhari has been in the UK for over a month now. Nakande said this at a special prayer session for the quick recovery of President Buhari which held yesterday at the Jos Central Mosque.



“From the information I gathered, President Buhari is hale and sound and may come back today (yesterday) or tomorrow (today). All what is needed from us is prayer for the full recovery and God’s guidance for the president to deliver his campaign promises” he said The former Minister said those wishing the president dead do not mean well for Nigeria “It is only Buhari that can take this nation out of the mess it found itself”he said

Made In Nigeria Fashion Cocktail and Dinner

The Dunes Center welcomed special guests to their Fashion Exhibition and Cocktail event that took place on Saturday, February 25th 2017 on the newly opened Nigerian Floor, a space that welcomes both emerging and established fashion brands, Nigerian-made artifacts and so much more.



The event was a vibrant occasion that welcomed known fashion and TV personalities while featuring a live art show by graffiti artist Osa Seven, violinist Godwin Strings and a runway showcase from top designers like Mai Atafo, uche Nnaji (ouch) and Abuja's own DZYN, e4ma, Wanger Ayu, Resurrection, JZO, Falke Tribe, Mishamoon, Yutee Rone and a kids line Caribel Couture to mention a few.

Preceding the exhibition was a private Made In Nigeria themed dinner that took place at the Dunes Center Royal Hall. The dinner was set to a beautiful mood with performances from Seyi Shay, Jeremiah Gyang and several others! Lillian Esoro, the official host for the evening, welcomed her friends in the film and music industry, whom of which included Tonto Dike, ebube Nwagbo, Tana Dalena, ufuoma macdemote , Gbenro Ajibade, senator comedian, UbiFranklin, Nnkechi Eze (asoebibella) and award winning singers, Banky W, Dr Sid and the Dunes Center male brand ambassador, Iyanya.
