Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyemi Ogunwusi narrated how he became an entrepreneur at a very young age to survive. The monarch also disclosed that his daughter is currently undergoing the compulsory one-year NYSC programme in Abuja.

"I made up my mind that I would be an entrepreneur. I was selling rice and sugar. At the age of 19, I fathered a child, which made the matter more complicated. Life was very tough because I had to cater for my child, but that made me to work harder."

"Today, I am proud to say that she is one of the present batch deployed to Abuja. That experience shaped my life and made me to keep starving. I started going to Benue to bring yam tubers, which I turned to yam powder. I want to encourage you today, whatever you are selling or doing, do it with zeal."

Rapper, Kanye West met briefly with Donald Trump, at Trump Tower in New York today. The Rapper reportedly requested a meeting with the president-elect and they had a 15-minute sit-down. Trump then escorted him out, addressing the press in the lobby together.




The Prez-elect told reporters he and Kanye go way back and the mutual admiration was apparent.

According to TMZ, Kanye asked for the meeting and Trump agreed. Kanye's creative director was present along with a Kanye camera crew. The creative director, Eli Linnetz, produced Kanye's "Fade" and "Famous" music videos. He's also there with Corey Gamble.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted the largest ever, quantity of Ephedrine, with a total weight of 83.390 kilogrammes, at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.
According to the anti-narcotics agency, three suspects, including luggage handlers and a clearing agent were arrested. Two bags, with one containing heroin and arriving in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, and another bearing cannabis, being exported to London, were abandoned at the same airport by traffickers.


A statement by the NDLEA spokesman, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, said the seized ephedrine has a street value of N4 billion, adding that the substance was concealed in artificial female hair by a suspected drug trafficking syndicate and was headed to South Africa.


The statement gave the names of the suspects as Unegbu Daniel Chukwu, 42; Ettah Joseph, 28; and Wopara Bright, 31. The NDLEA spokesman added that that the agency’s counter-narcotic measures at the airport will intensify on a daily basis.

Also commenting on the seizures, the Chief Executive Officer of the NDLEA, Colonel Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah (retd.), explained that the ephedrine was intercepted at the departure hall during outward screening of a South African Airways flight to Johannesburg, South Africa.

He added that three suspects, including luggage handlers and a clearing agent, are currently being interrogated in connection with the crime. Colonel Abdallah warned that the agency will frustrate attempts by criminal syndicates to sully the country's image.

"Anti-narcotic agents have been placed on the alert and will remain vigilant in detecting any act of sabotage. The case is under investigation and anyone found wanting shall be prosecuted in line with the NDLEA Act," he said.
Preliminary investigation, said the NDLEA, revealed that Unegbu Daniel, an indigene of Anambra State working as a clearing agent, collected the luggage from his client and took it to the airport. Two luggage handlers, who allegedly worked with him, were identified as Ettah Joseph from Cross River State and Wopara Bright from Rivers State. The cases, explained the NDLEA, are under investigation aimed at uncovering the cartel behind the illegal shipment.

Pres. Buhari leaves for Gambia to broker peace and ask Pres. Yahya Jammeh to leave office

President Buhari will today depart Abuja for Gambia where he will be joined by Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, and Ghanaian president, John Mahama, to persuade Gambian president, Yahya Jammeh, to leave office after he lost to his opponent, Adama Narrow, in the country's December 1st election.

Hammeh who has been in office for 22 years, had over the weekend disclosed he was going to challenge the electoral victory of Narrow, an indication that he is not ready to leave office.

Immediately after the election, he called Narrow to congratulate him for winning the election. A week later, he announced his rejection of the outcome of the election and is demanding for a fresh election that according to him will be conducted by God fearing electoral officers.

Sherri Shepherd's ex husband demands more child support payments for their 2 year old son

Comedian and The View co-host, Sherri Shepherd's ex-husband Lamar Sally is asking for more child support payments for his 2-year-old son who was born via surrogate after Sherry and Lamar separated. In the docs he just filed in L.A. he said that the $4,100 a month he gets for their son isn't enough.

Lamar says when their deal was first made, it was under the belief that Sherri made just over $1.8 mil a year but now he says he believes her income's closer to $3 mil. Lamar claims their son has a medical condition that requires plenty of expensive medical treatment. He claims that Sherri's acting gigs, stand-up career and 3% profit grab in a wig company are her main money makers. He is also asking for $75,000 to cover his legal fees for their divorce.



The couple got married in August 2011. Shortly after they got married, Sherri told Lamar that she desperately wanted a child with him which he agreed to after much persuasion from her (according to Lamar's exclusive interview with Daily Mail in 2014), unfortunately, her eggs weren't viable for pregnancy. So in September 2012, Sherri said the couple was searching for a surrogate in order to have a child.

They eventually found someone to be a surrogate for them and Sherri agreed to pay the woman $30,000 to carry their child.

They used to woman's eggs and Lamar's sperm to make the baby.

However, Lamar filed for separation on May 2, 2014, and Sherri filed for divorce days later.

In July 2014, Lamar Sally petitioned a Los Angeles court for full legal and physical custody of their unborn child expected via surrogacy, who was later born in August 2014.


After the child was born, Sherri went to court asking to be broken of all ties to the child. But in April 21, 2015, a Pennsylvania court ruled that Shepherd is the legal parent of the child born from a surrogate mother even though he has no DNA link to Shepherd.

Ronaldo landed his fourth Balon D'or to close the gap on his perennial rival, Lionel Messi who has five to his name. The Barcelona star was expected to challenge his Real Madrid counterpart for the award this year but Ronaldo left him in his wake.


The Portuguese star got 745 points to Messi's 316. Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann came in a distant third with 198 points. Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez finished in seventh place to make him the highest ranked English Premier League player on the list. The top six spots were all occupied by La Liga players.
