Serena Williams shares adorable photos of 2-year-old daughter Olympia as a Flower Girl









Tennis star, Serena Williams took to Instagram to share adorable photos of her 2-year-old daughter Olympia playing the role of a flower girl at a wedding on Saturday, October 19.



The ceremony was also attended by Serena Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian.



'She took her flower girl job very seriously!!! @hexner14 @js_poodles congrats. So happy for you both, ' Serena Williams wrote in her caption.

The 13th edition of the Headies Awards kicked off hours ago in Lagos at the prestigious Eko Hotels.



This year’s edition themed “The power of a dream”. The red carpet was hosted by Nancy Isime and popular rapper Reminisce and they did their best to deliver a spectacular show.

Lion escapes from Kano Zoo









A lion has reportedly escaped from the Kano Zoological Garden yesterday, October 19.



Governor Umar Ganduje's aide, Salihu Tanko Yakasai who confirmed the report said authorities are doing everything possible to recapture the Lion.



He also told residents of Zoo Road in Gadun, Kano, to be vigilante even though the lion is said to be within the premises of the zoo.



Salihu Tanko Yakasai tweeted;




"It Is true that a Lion in Kano Zoo has escaped and the authorities are doing everything humanly possible to capture it. So far theres no cause for alarm as the lion is still within the premises of the Kano Zoo but those living within the area are advised to be vigilante."

The 13th edition of the Headies Awards took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites and witnessed amazing performances from talented acts.



Teni, Falz, Burna Boy and Rema were some of the big winners of the night. While Teni won four awards for best vocal performance (female), best recording of the year, best pop single and Headies Viewers' Choice, Falz bagged three awards for best rap singer,best rap album and album of the year.



Top performance from veteran singers, Zaki Adzay, Sunny Neji, Victor AD and Wurld; who emerged winner of best vocal performance (male) wowed the audience and viewers of the show.



The event was hosted by TV personality, Nancy Isime and rapper, Reminisce.
